G'day all,100%agree that Dassault make beautiful aircraft,I can remember the Mirage our airforce(R.A.A.F)used until we got F-18's.Those Mirage's were awesome and they looked sleek & mean as, I'll never forget how they sounded taking off and how acrobatic they were.🇦🇺🫡🇨🇵
Happy memories of flying around Saudi Arabia in the early 80s in a Falcon 50 owned by Philips Telecommunications. They had a fleet of Falcons with tail numbers from PH-ILA to PH-ILZ #goodolddays
If I were in the market, which I am not, the question I would ask is about cabin pressurization and relative humidity. In the B787 and the A350, I have found this makes the greatest difference to comfort on long flights.
**switches from usual Red Army choirs to random Edith Piaf tune** Serge Dassault was the most corrupt morun, but he was quite visionnary when going all-in with the business jets. The firm owes him as much as his father's military planes, and both had the gift of creating both gorgeous and remarquable planes. Let's hope the firm can go on by itself, and never be swallowed by Airbus.
Usual whinge from myself, 28.48kN = 6,400 lbf. 29.9kN = 6,722lbf. You had just started to note the pounds force of the engines, too. The rest of the video is your typical high quality output. Many thanks as always.
Sky, yes I realise that English isn't your first language, but two things amused me. Of course, the lavatory has a full range of conveniences. It's a lavatory. If it didn't have a lavatory at all, some would say that was inconvenient! If you were to opt for the bathroom instead, how would a non-vertical shower work instead of the vertical shower?
@@COIcultist You should see the toilets in light aircraft like the Pilatus. About the shower. This is business aviation, I admit that on some aircraft the customer will want a regular bathtub and it will be implemented somehow) I’ll try to write the lbf too, to make it more convenient for you
@@SkyshipsEng Sky, I was teasing you about toilets and conveniences. Public toilets are often known as public conveniences. I was also very literally trying to envision a non-vertical (horizontal, perhaps?) shower, not a bath. How the Brits might place a bath? ruclips.net/video/XLibirXsrkg/видео.html There is a non UK version of that advert, not just with a different voiceover but differing glasses and phone. Yup the 3 engines will be a big matter when compared to the other competitors using only 2 engines. But no doubt Dassault Falcon is considered one of the best and most desired luxurious private jet. Its designed to attract the most wealthy customers IMHO.
I would choose a twinjet . The maintenance costs especially on the number 2 "S" ducted engine would be quite high . The age of the the Trijet is long over .
Dassault has not yet realized that having an engine at the tail surfaces of the plane will cause it to lose all control functions if the engine fails, causing the death of everyone on board.
Everybody does, at least for the manufacturing. All onboard systems use SI units and then do silly conversions for the crew...Just like the flight computers for the Apollo missions did...

Dassault sure knows how to make beautiful planes. Their Rafale is probably the single most beautiful production fighter jet in the would imo
I was at SkyShips just before here, too :) LOL!!!
I prefer the Su 57 but the Rafale is awesome too!

Dassault Falcons are so sexy. From what i heard they can be equipped with Exocets!

That sounds awesome!
Completely unrelated story… In Finland there is one Cessna plane that has tail numbers OH-WTF 🥳🤣 (It is used by the parachute 🪂 club in Vaasa.)
Range+ runway performance+ efficiency+ Trijet= fav amongst ✈🎉
One of the most beautiful planes)

I don't know for the 7X or 8X but Dassault talked a lot about that during the presentation of the 10X.
Im a falcon boy, loved the video!
There is a cure for that.

thanks as always Sky for the fun, data filled video.
I did NOT expect to hear you to say "Air Sarko 1"
Those were some wild years
Fantastic video once again! I love that Dassault has not just done it's own thing, but that they have been so successful with it.

Gorgeous. And high-performance.
WIN.
The Falcon on any day.
I am truly curious to know about the "non-vertical" showers...

I bet it flies well
It's a thing of absolute beauty
When a G6 is considered sluggish, slow, and flying too low...
Get a Formula One with wings...
This makes me think, how the Embraer Praetor 500/600 do in the market?
Don't understand that 3rd engine - ETOPS - no, for what? Yak40 had it for other reasons...
I tried to explain this trick in the video about the Falcon 900
Still my favorite private jet, light, economical, striking, and compact. It's got almost everything for a decent price compared to the competition.
Falcon jets always look funny with their teeny tiny nose gear tires!
Oh It’s beautiful. I like Gulfstreams more, but this Falcon is good
Any plans to do the Tu-160? Would love to see that

About the sponsor: Recent development of marine drones shows that it is an obsolete technology.
The MTOW of the 7x says 7000lb in the video. That missing zero makes a huge difference.
Wait, what was that at 12:12? France has a stealth wingman drone flying?
Didn't you have a video about the C-17? I swear you had one but I'm not sure if it got struck down by copyright or is just a mandela effect
Man, wish someone could make these planes for MSFS 2020....
When you cover BAE Hawk?
Hm, interesting question

At last!🎉
Okay, I'll take one. Can you deliver it for my birthday?
6:32😂😂😂

Ridiculous statement.
Yet this aircraft is practically the safest private aircraft available

Background music is very annoying. It adds nothing of value to your otherwise excellent video.

If war was limited to games, then that would be a good thing.
