I had no off button anywhere. I had to search elan in the bar and open the app. Then I could tick the box for when a mouse is connected. Thank you for the spark

still cant turn off my touchpad since an update n its messing with my gaming and other stuff (found a fix uninstall on device manager n it'll force install back on n its seems to be working fine on )

WOW! THANKS! literally did everything possible to disable touchpad, until I found the little square on F4, hit FN+F4 and voila! Nothing else worked! Brand MSI, Windows 11

Make sure you have a mouse plugged into your laptop then go to Start button then Settings then Bluetooth & Device then Touchpad, and see if you have a touchpad on/off button.

My touch pad is buggin and I cant desactive it

There is absolutely NO way for me to turn off the touch pad on my windows 11 pro laptop!
Can you try clicking on start button and type mouse and see if there is an option to turn it off from there.

@@cwtek1 yeah right. The laptop is 4 years old. The warranty has run out.
@@jamming8519Your Laptop Manufacturer should still be able to tell you if its possible to switch off the touchpad, even if it is out of warranty.
