pilot said "cant take a risk to pick them up" while he's literally next to the roof with them he can just turn right so the survivors can jump on the chopper
Some things are cool in this beta like map design especially blood harvest finale, weapon reload anims which has 2 anims (Empty mag and just changing a full mag), I also like the idea of players getting into vehicle and driving or flying away while shooting machine gun (But it's not done well i suppose since bots falls of truck or helicopter or even worse tanks getting into truck and yeah flashlights looks cool too.
This is the first time I have seen the beta. I like how detailed the maps are compared to the finished product. The final game feels barren. Zoey sounds constipated in the beta.
Just noticed another thing which is a major complaint in the current, why did they take away seeing the survivors in the rescue vehicle? I prefer that to just warping them to the safe room
@AdrensphrdGaming I don't know, Half Life 2 came out years before this and didn't have problems, and then other much older games were able to do things just fine, so I don't see why source couldn't do something so simple
@@hihosh1 half life 2 did not have a huge maps with such a details infact some details were cut due to performance issues and visual glitches and not to mention that half life 2 at the times was a heavy game even in the late 2000s it was only considered a "low end pc game" around the mid 2010s 2014-2016 and that the game even in it current form still have glitches with the skybox at the anticitizen one map 2 and some lighting issues especially during black Mesa east So I see why they didn't want to risk it with l4d especially when you put in mind that it was also releases to console and source was not that well optimized to the consoles

Why remove the trellis work from the farmhouse? And the flags and antennae from the roof of Mercy Hospital. The trellis could have been broken by the infected
Keep in mind this was 6 to 7 generation hardware Valve and TRS were working with back in 2006 to 2007 so its possible they couldn't include that much detail without game performance suffering

For gameplay purposes, I imagine. Original game was darker too. But for long gameplays, it is stressful for eyes.

Maybe he can't turn or smth cuz the buildings are too close to each other and if he did the blades would get ruined but what do I know

I remember having that Zoey voicemod ripped from various footage. Really miss that mod, but it's since been removed.

We gotta get something dude,that source is not invincible engine,they did this cuz they know it may fuck up in the technical level
