~2003, I would watch my brother play when I came home from schoo as I was too young to play in those days. I was the commentor. Some years later I play. Such nostalgia.
Just 2 hours?! OMG, this game took me days and months! IGI has some magic inside, you love it and hate it at the same time, you play it again and again and it annoyed you same way) But after many many years, when you hear about this game or watch it online, you just feel nostalgic, remember good childhood times, when you played it before and after school and those good old times at all. Great music, good plot and action, difficult and sometimes even a little bit scary.

The best thing about this entire game is that, it can easily be the best memorable that'll be in your memory for years. The typing keyboard animation is kinda funny, but it stayed in my memories for years. This truly is the best childhood game out there.
All series of IGI game are very unique and masterpiece category. Hope upcoming IGI's " Origins of IGI" will break records with top class thrilling background musics in PC Games.

This reminds me of the days of 2005 coming back from school at noon starting the Pc was always on top priority with windows xp startup sounds opening this game and playing hours trying to get through one level without changing the school uniform . Good old days when developers focused more on game enjoyblity not on some crazy graphics details .
A damn good one... Sent chills through the spine... And the mission was kinda long too... I always sounded the alarm myself to make it kinda exiting... After completing it I felt like I had been playing for hours...

It was 1.30 AM and I was about go to sleep cuz have ceremony at office early in the morning then and this video got in my feed, even after knowing the length of the video I still decided to watch it and sacrifice my sleep.. That's how much I love this game..❤️ The computer hacking, destroying cameras, alarms, sniping half the map early to clear path.. and the music I tell you is just wow.. Although I remember me doing things very differently back then but this still hit the nostalgia pretty hard and took me back to much simpler and happy times.. This game will forever stay in my heart..❤️

This game was one of the games i have played in my childhood and I’m now 18. It was hard for me to beat this game. I can remember getting help from my dad to beat it. It is one of the best games I’v ever played and it has a special place in my heart.
The last mission soundtrack stayed in my head since i've heard it, when I was around 4 or 5 and watching my brother play, even nowadays when i play any infiltration game it still plays mecanically in my brain, easily the best fitting soundtrack for this kind of game, it really has a Cold War feeling to it.

I remember a key "feature" or selling point of this game was it's insanely long - basically infinite - draw distances. I think I even challenged it one time by running outside of a base perimeter, along the hills, for about a straight 30 minutes and finding no end to it. Like that background at 35:46 isn't some 2D background - it's real terrain you could reach and run on which was rare for games of this era.
This game actually took some skill. I remember trying to play thru in 99 2000 as a teen. This was one of the first actual strategy fps games. You really needed to make a gameplan to make it thru these levels or youd die. Memories.

This is the game that made me buy my first proper PC after playing it briefly at my mates house 20 years ago. Makes me so emotional replaying the game now, in 2021!

I played it on of my known's PC back in 2004-5, then I downloaded in my PC but my PC could not handle this masterpiece, eventually upgraded to PC in 2012, coupd never play Igi or Igi2, because I didn't have time during my college days. Today, I am going to download this again!!! Let me relieve what I missed in childhood.
We upgraded our graphics card and it wasn't compatible with this game. Had no reticle at all so I had to get binoculars out, use a biro pen to draw a dot on the CRT Monitor 😂

I once reached a certain skill level in this game, that i was able to complete all missions in hardest difficulty, without getting a single hit from the enemy. Without dying at all. This game, and delta force 2, were my childhood, great games.

Wow!! Such a fabulous performance in playing IGI-1. I was able to compete only till level 6 and didn’t know the tricks to compete other levels. Really mind blowing job in completing the game. Should have shown the action after finishing the game.

The most unique thing about this IGI 1 is that it's missions are way too long than today's modern games and that is really good.

I still remember how it was 2005 and I would just come home from my school, take bath. Eat and then play for 1 long hour 🥺🥺🥺 Whole childhood again.

I played this game when I was a kid. I've been trying to remember the name for a such a long time until i figured it had something to do with the word 'project' and I found it 😭😭😭. This was my childhood and am so grateful others loved this as much as I did. 😊

I have played this game when I was 6-7 then again when I was 14 then a year ago when I was 27. And I see myself playing it again. I love this game and no game has ever made me feel like it. Forever IGI fan.

I played it on of my known's PC back in 2004-5, then I downloaded in my PC but my PC could not handle this masterpiece, eventually upgraded to PC in 2012, coupd never play Igi or Igi2, because I didn't have time during my college days. Today, I am going to download this again!!! Let me relieve what I missed in childhood.
We upgraded our graphics card and it wasn't compatible with this game. Had no reticle at all so I had to get binoculars out, use a biro pen to draw a dot on the CRT Monitor 😂

I once reached a certain skill level in this game, that i was able to complete all missions in hardest difficulty, without getting a single hit from the enemy. Without dying at all. This game, and delta force 2, were my childhood, great games.

Wow!! Such a fabulous performance in playing IGI-1. I was able to compete only till level 6 and didn’t know the tricks to compete other levels. Really mind blowing job in completing the game. Should have shown the action after finishing the game.
My brother too can't finish after lv 6 but I found tricks and finished the whole game
