That was my ABSOLUTE favorite show as a kid!!!
Patrick P me too and knowing where is it after decades makes me happy.
Rest in peace Mr Adam West
I love the old Batman t.v series,
To me Adam West will always be the real Batman!
And Cesar Romero will always be the real Joker!
Those girls are nodding like "That was the Bat Cave entrance" is the coolest thing ever - betcha neither of them have ever seen or had ever heard of the 60's TV series until that moment.
You are probably right!! lol!!
Why not it still gets shown on TV.
Straight to PORN!
They're just being polite to strangers. Problem?
@@MrShobar BIG PROBLEM!!
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
Thanks for bringing my childhood favorite show back to life for me.
I have seen that cave a thousand times probably as a kid. Holy Smokes Batman !
For me this is the real Batman too. I used to watch Batman in the 60's, in black and white TV. When the movie was presented in full color, woooww. I cried to keep watching the film over and over. Greetings from Mexico.
Great video Guys I used to watch Batman every week
This is SOOOOO awesome!! As a kid I LOVED Batman. Still do. And, I especially loved the Batmobile and the cave. I spent an hour the other day on the treadmill watching several of your repo videos , which were also very entertaining. Batman takes it to yet another level. BRAVO!!!
Great video. Keep up the great work.
I had the pleasure of working with Adam west around 1991. We were both going to the restroom and he found out where I was born since he went to college there.(Walla Walla, Washington.,) we talked for about 20 minutes. A really nice guy.
I also lived about 2 miles from Burt Ward and he lives there today raising great Dane.
I was a big fan of the batman TV show as a kid so I had to go visit the Bronson caves. I have photos of me and my daughter standing at the opening where the batmobile would drive out of. But what got my attention to your channel witch I am now following is the cover photo of the hotwheels (1:50 scale) batmobile coming out the cave. I know the size because its my photo I made that diorama some years back. Thanks for sharing it I'm glad someone got some use out of it lol!
That is very cool.. You did a great job on that.. Looks like the real thing!!
@@SpaGuy thank you I appreciate that
Two things.....I met Adam West and Burt Ward in person at the World of Wheels Custom Car Show in Baltimore MD back in the early ‘70s. I was about 8 years old. I’ve got a picture somewhere my Dad took of my with the guys, that I need to dig out. They had the Batmobile there with them...it was a special show car that was covered in black ‘bat fur’ (black velvet glued on).
Second....that Polish girl in this video was BEAUTIFUL!
Hey, I probably saw you there. I remember the fuzzy Batmobile.
THANKS SPA GUY FOR ALL THE VIDEOS U FILM,SO THANKFUL FOR ALL U DO
Very Cool !!! Way to go again Spa Guy !!!
Thank you guys for taking us to memory lane to one of my fav shows Batman the original Batman.
You are amazing Billy. Another winner. Like you. Another winner. Bless and Tk you.
Thanks for take me to the BatCave Billy and Trey M. Interesting to see where the first Batman Tv shows was filmed.
Holy smokes batman 😲another awesome video from the spa guy 👍👌🤗
" To the Batmobil , let's go " , Atomic battery to power , turbine to speed ; Roger ready to move out " . It was a good shows from my youth , thanks Billy 🙂
Unreal. In the 1960s coming home from school I'd watch Batman. In color.
In fact the 50s & 60s had the very best tv programs. Munsters My Favourite Martian Beverly Hillbillies Mayberry Red Skelton Time Tunnel Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Jackie Gleason ...so forth.
Nice ladies in vid.
Hollywood sign WOW.
The Duke ( John Wayne ) did shoots here WOW.
Once went to a drive in movie theatre...6-7 yrs old
One movie was Elvis 2nd movie with John Wayne ( my childhood heros )
Batman shows had Batman & Robin climbing the side of buildings with the Bat Rope.
Well known actors would open a window & say some line Ha !
Remember that Bat Cave very clearly.
They would race out of it after getting a phone call from the Commisioner Ohara
Don't forget The Land Of The Giants too.... Loved these shows as a kid... Fond memories
Loved watching Batman and Robin in the 70's my after school thing, thanks Spa guy very nostalgic for sure 👍🌟
Enjoyed this very much! Everyone either loves Batman or wants to be Batman :). It's cool that this cave is still there! Thanks so much for this adventure Spa Guy & Trey!
Very cool footage of one of my favorite childhood shows. Great vlog Billy and Trey. Nice work👍🏻😎
That's so cool to get to see that ...!! Gosh I grew up watching Batman as far back as I can remember . Those were great memories !! That was a cool story Trey Miller told too . Thank you Spa Guy for taking us along !! Oh and BTW you and Trey are closer to being SF than I'll ever be . 😉❤
I just want to say that you do a wonderful job! Also to Trey, I'm from the Pocono's in Pennsylvania. But my wife is from Ft.Payne, AL. When my military career was over we settled in a small town near her relatives, you may have heard of Boaz, AL. So Trey I just wanted to let you know, you do have fans close to home!! Thank you both for the wonderful job you do!!!
Hey Scott, my sister moved to Fyffe about 6 years ago.
Wow so cool!!! Thanks for sharing!! Hope you get a ride back!!😃😃
Wow that is so cool. I used to watch the show. Thank you Spa Guy and Trey.
Thanks for the memories...watched that show with my Dad when I was a 10-year old kid!
Great job 👍
Broderick Crawford arrested a kidnapper on the backside of the cave. It was one of the Highway Patrol episodes featuring the Bell helicopter.
Yes! Adam West is Batman , just like Clayton Moore is the Lone Ranger
This was interesting, I wasn't born until 1967 but loved the tv series "Batman" as seen in reruns over the years. I'd love to have the complete series, also i have a Hot Wheels version of the Batmobile still in package which was a 2007 release plus in May I had found a realistic diecast in a bigger scale at Wal-Mart in May. I like this car better than the current movie cars since the 90's. This was made from a Lincoln Futura (if spelled right) which was a concept car from Lincoln in the 60's. Thank you for sharing!
This is very cool! Can't wait more of these location videos. You know month ago while we where in Memphis driving around, I feeled like home, I knew most of the places already because I had watched these videos! Most of the places have happened neat things...you just don't that you may stand in historical spot at that moment.....these videos helps recognize locations very easily
Very cool
A childhood favourite of mine.
Enjoyed the video.
I wish I still had my Batmobile that I had when I was a little girl.. my cousin and I both had one..
I’ve still got mine & it’s in pretty good condition. I’ve also got my Man From UNCLE & my Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cars too!,
Ooh yes, that’s right, they did have a blade thing come out of the bonnet. I’ll have to have a look, I’d clean forgotten about that!
Pretty cool stuff Spa Guy! Thanks for sharing this! Was waiting for you to sing the batman theme. Lol
Loved Batman growing up...Well holy macaroni spa guy ...lol. I didn't know your trusty side kick was from Alabama. I live in NE Alabama Dekalb co. Roll Dam Tide! 😳
Catherine Engle
I live in Alabama too ... Blountsville, Blount County !👍 Roll Tide !!! 👍
@@heartofdixie67 Roll Tide Roll...
Great video guys! Thanks!
No way! talk about timing. I just recently started reminiscing about the original Batman series and have been working my way through it from the first season. That is so cool. Good to know coz I was wondering about the bat cave car opening scene.
Wow..what a sight to see. Hope I can get there one day. Great work and thx for posting 👍🏽🙏🏼✌🏽
Thanks for sharing. Great job. Grew up in Los angeles and watched batman everyday but never thought about where the cool batcave was. Thanks so much.
Good job..love your vids...thanks!
I've watched vid's on the original Bat Cave before, but this one has to be the best.
Loved the Batman series has a kid has they were tongue in cheek . much better than the films. Great to see the cave location were it was filmed. Really enjoyed that, Thanks spa guy.
Awesome i just bought the box set off eBay..thanks for showing us the famous bat cave drive thru in the opening 1966 credits
Holy moly Mr. Guy! I always thought you were cool. Now I know your cool. Spa Guy is a cool guy!
Check out the Bronson Caves on IMDB; you'll be amazed at how many TV shows and movies filmed here. In the seventies, I lived a couple miles away and would walk there frequently. One late afternoon, I walked around the perimeter of the caves to the bowl area on the other side of the entrance (seen starting at 4:07). To my amazement, the whole area had been transformed into a forest snow scene for filming The White Buffalo with Charles Bronson. Everyone was gone for the day, but a guard allowed me to walk around the set and satisfy my curiosity. Still one of my fond memories of growing up in Hollywood.
There is a well-known scene in the movie The Searchers with John Wayne that was filmed at the opening of that cave. Those are called the Bronson caves. A lot of really cool stuff has been filmed up there.
Richard Crofts at the end of beechwood dr. By sunset stables
Probably the greatest western ever made
its also the cave from the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers
This is cool. I had no idea where the BatCave was, let alone that it lined up with the Hollywood sign. As soon as I saw the title of this video, I can hear the roaring engine of the BatMobile in my mind. Thanks for posting.
John NY haha me too.that unique turbine whine
I still have my collection of Batman cards. Very cool cards . On the back was part of a larger picture and if you collected them all you could put them together like a puzzle.
Wow that brings me back to my childhood... loved Batman - thankyou both 👍
LoL Billy 😊, I know you were tempted to sing Batman's theme song, while walking thru the cave, I know I would have! LoL, thanks 😊 for sharing, your friend Bonnie
Zach He was going to sing "Batman" to you, but he forgot the lyrics.
@@tarasbulba3190 LoL 😂 😂
Spa Guy I was just out there at Bronson Caves. If I ran into you inside the Batcave, that would be a story I'd tell for a long time!!
Maybe next time.. You never know..
Great video! look forward to more! I sure hope Trey got some phone numbers!
Thanks for showing!
That cave has been used in so many films and tv show.
Great work spa guy. 👍🏻
I flew a hang glider from very near where you saw the Ranger vehicle, in Spring of '79 on a Saturday, so there would be less chance of workers or security. Great flight and almost got a ticket, but they couldn't prove I took off from that spot, so I skated. I had some pics I took while flying, but they got destroyed in a fire w/ all my worldly possessions in '07 in the San Diego fire. Took me over two hours of hiking w/ that glider on my back (over one shoulder or another) to get to that take-off spot, because the service roads are all fenced/gated, so driving wasn't an option. Too much fun! Man, life was simple then.
Wow you are crazy to jump from up there..
@@SpaGuy It was a sketchy take off due to vortices coming off the surrounding hills/terrain, but SO worth the effort. Once I was airborne, I got to fly back and forth by the Hollywood sign, which was such a kick at age 19. Guess my "no fear" attitude had some benefit, eh? lol
Very Cool.. Nowadays with helmet cams and such it would have been epic but they would also throw the book at you today..
Excellent work My favourite childhood programme. Thank you spa... Respect
I've left a message for you on Facebook.
Just want to take a moment and tell you how much I love your videos. I don't get a chance to comment too much, but this was awesome to see the original bat man cave! Are you kidding me? Great stuff. Thank you so much for doing what you do...
Lol you put this up on my birthday
Bronson Caves, Hollywood, Calif. We played there all the time as kids in the late 1960's.
This location is really popular because of its proximity to the studios. TMZ (where the TV show gets its name) means Thirty Mile Zone. Anything further than a 39 mile radius from the studio means time and a half for the crew. Red Rocks, where Captain Kirk beamed down to more than a few planets and every western serial was shot is also in the TMZ.
Also looks like the cave from the searchers. Very cool thank you posting.
I don't know how they can improve on the 1983 Outsiders movie. It was filmed beautifully.
Thanks guys (liked and subscribed)
Very cool. Good story on the stunt double!
Very cool. I was a first-grader when Batman premiered. The Polish girl is definitely easy on the eyes.
Wow this is wicked love to watch filming locations that's kinda special to be able to walk through with you, thanks for sharing so much
Batman, my man...thanks Spa Guy..
That bass riff was badass!
Billy this is laurie from NH that is so cool love where you bring us !! You can get that pic of the batmobile wow!! Good find
Awesome work dude
Great! Cheers from the uk
You earned this video Spa guy, a bunch of walking. 🚶🏼♂️
Thank you!!
💥POW 💥 Batman was one of my favorite shows as a child. Of coarse there are a few Elvis connections to Batman. Batgirl: Yvonne Craig from Kissin Cousins & It happened at the Worlds Fair. Plus Burgess Meredith (Penguin); Carolyn Jones, & Milton Berle all appeared on Batman & in Elvis movies. Great job once again💥Bam💥
Oh, Nearly forgot Liberace too!
Didn't Sharon Tate play in one of the Batman series also ? I believe she lived nearby one of Elvis' houses in California too . That would be a little connection to Elvis too .
I did not know that. I would have to look that up.
No mention of Batman on Tate’s Wikipedia page so I didn’t confirm if that is true
💥BIFF!💫 Zowie💢 Arrrrgh!🗯
If you look at historical 1960s aerial photographs of Hollywood, you can see "the lagoon" set for Gilligan's Island on a movie studio back lot.
Well that was a cool one.
Danananananana Spaaa Guyyy..
I was thinking the same thing...!! Glad someone put that on here . I could just see Spa Guy and Trey Miller come flying out that cave in the Grey Ghost . lol !! That would have been cute !!
Trey is TCB in a different kind way. I see you man!
He is bringing The Heat for sure..
Hahahaha. No doubt!
Lived in Hollywood from 64-72. Graduated HHS in 70. Bronson Caves in the Hollywood Hills Used to play in the cave as a youngster
Did u happen to run into Jim Morrison?
Hangover Blues , no but used to go swimming in the Mikado apartments on Whitley Terrace , where the Hullabaloo dancers stayed, also Arthur Lee and Love. I do remember walking past Ray Manzarek and Leon Russell on Sunset near Crescent Heights
Look at Billy having his picture taken. It would appear you’re pretty close to being “SF”. Well done my friend👍
That Bat Cave was used long before BatMan
As mentioned John Wayne , Charles Bronson and others have used this cave .
Including Combat , Rawhide , Have Gun Will Travel .
But that's not all ....
The Outer Limits , Wounder Woman ( tos ) Lynda Carter and even more .
The list goes on SI - Fi , Mystery , Horror , Comedy and some Adult movies . Movies and TV shows in part have the Secret Location of the Bat Cave
I'm watching the 1966 batman movie on fxm retro right now.
Cool! thanks for sharing
Holy human surfboards batman!
That part with all the rocks in a circle reminds me of the movie Pet Cemetery.
You too? I was thinking the very same thing
thats exactly what I thought
Oh, dang, you’re right😳
The year I was born 1966 thanks for sharing spa guy
This was awesome thx. Just subscribed
HOLY CANNABIS PLANT BATMAN!
Thanks for posting, I love what you do,I hope one day I van see it to.may GOD, bless y'all always.
That’s cool! Thanks for sharing it with us. One question though, did Trey wind up getting the girls phone numbers?
Lol.. He didn't..
Spa Guy you’re going to have to talk to the boy!
LOL
Cool stuff fellas....enjoyed the little known Batman filming stories
The last portion of the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" was memorably filmed there.
I bet if Batman was there he would have charmed those young ladies to the bat cave for a little bit of Bat Love ...
Did you say you're from Alabama? Same here. I was stationed out there for a while. Back in Bama now. Cool deal.
now this is cool
IF THE BAT CAVE COULD TALK. Whoa... what a blast we had.... Burbank Boys/Girls. 1960s.
FYI... I was looking at the geological reports wondering if the springs were mentioned that we knew about.
The area of the "Bat Cave" the road and the leveled area was a gypsum mine 200 plus yrs ago and ranch. ( Not the Bat Cave that's the videos story).
cool info...
not only bat man but,
an episode of "the rat patrol" also featured the cave.
and an episode of "star trek" the original series.
episode called, "bread and circuses."
