Any easy way to get the nut off the foot of the dampening rod without a vise and special tool?
y'all skipped this part but only seen people use a vise

Great video, learning a lot! When placing the small purple seal over the end of the dampening rod, good idea to use like maybe a plastic bag to keep any sharp edges from nicking the seal? Of is that a non issue? Thanks JB!

A plastic bag can be added to the process as well.
