I'm not a Christian, and I'm certainly not into Christian music in general. But I respect and admire Brian for having the courage of keeping true with his believes without rejecting his friends from korn for not being christian. He really understood the point. It's not about changing everything you are just to be a "respectful member of a church" it's about being the best version of yourself and staying true to yourself, no matter what.
Pretty cool that most of the members of the band are now Christian thanks to the witnessing Brian has done. :)
Initially Brian didn't have respect for the members of Korn when he became a Christian. He had to learn to not judge but love. It took time, but now the members of Korn all pray together before each show..Fieldy pretty much made the reunion happen as he became a Christian after Head had been gone awhile. Either way, it's a beautiful thing since they never really replaced him. Fun fact: Clint Lowery of Sevendust toured with them for a while after he left Sevendust years ago. Never played on stage, just behind the stage.
I'm catholic and head made such an amazing band and superb song!

Dan Hernandez You have got to be god damn kidding me? Really? How much HE influenced KORN'S sound??? Please stop. Please, I'm begging you. How on damned earth do you come to that idea? Head completely JACKED Korn's sound, especially the bass and drum style. The lead singer Johnathon Davis and bassist Fieldy were the main sources of uniqueness, creativity and style. So much so that they practically created a new genre of music. Brian Welch had such a small part in CREATING THE SOUND OF KORN.
Kalli Love haha what? He was a major part of the Korn sound! As like Fieldy, Munky, Jon and David! But Head is the onlyt one who kept metal in his heart! Cheers!

KoRn are historically known for pioneering the Nu-Metal genre so I would say you are correct.
The more I hear of Love and Death, the more I find that a lot of what appealed to me in Korn came from Brian!

Caught these guys opening for KoRN in Big Flats. They are the real deal, very professional and brought this 45 year old dinosaur back to the mosh pit with his 16 year old daughter and her friend.....both LOVED this band hope he does KoRN and keeps his solo project as well

Brian has a really amazing voice- His solo stuff is so good as well as his influence on/with Korn
Can definitely tell Brian wrote These guitar riffs. still has that classic hard-edged sound he brought to us in Korn. very impressed!

Head always said he was insecure about himself, and when Jon tried to give him vocal parts in Korn he rejected most of the time. He sounds so good I love his voice, would love to hear him and Jon work on some shit where Head shares the lead.
Right?? I tend to think he's a (and no offense to Jonathan Davis, he's a great vocalist btw) better vocalist than Johnathan.
Or... let Head do some songs where he is the vocalist solely!!
chris jones Not to put you down but he is no way better as a vocalist than Jonathan. Head himself said that recorded one line at a time for his vocal parts and Jonathan just goes all in one take usually. Head does have a great voice though and works great in this music but Jonathan is a master at his craft even if you don’t like his voice.

I watched Love and Death 4 days ago at a concert and they were beyond awesome. The band was tight and never missed a beat. I personally have never seen this band nor listen to their songs. I have only been a fan of Brian because of his book. But now, I am in love with this band!!

This is Brian Head Welch's best song in all his years of being in any band. It just so happens It's also my favorite music video of all time. "Death before I give dishonor, death before I disobey" listen to all the emotions connected to his gut wrenching soul emptying vocals - it's beyond words to describe it really. And I've been around the block a few years.
