Hey Coach, how can I see over the line? I’m 5’9 and struggle to see over the line and coaches continuously say this guy was wide open or this other guy was and I can’t see it. Do you have any tips or videos on how to adjust in the pocket to see these receivers?
If you search up “first down training short QBs” on RUclips we have some videos about creating throwing windows in the pocket. You play through windows between your O-Line- for QBs it’s very tough to see over linemen at any height unless your line is short
If you search up “first down training catching tips” on RUclips we have some content there! Also I recommend watching Davante Adams film or Justin Jefferson
Hey coach I'm just starting football this year and I'm worried and not for your usual reason I'm worried cause last year I said to couple people on the team I'm joining and they said don't but I'm still joining and there are also a lot of kids on the team that don't really like me (I'm going into 8th grade)
Honestly man you can’t really worry about that. At the end of the day you should only focus on how you feel and what you want to do. Nobody else’s opinion matters. If I listened to people I would be even writing this message. So many people day in and day out talk shit about me and say negative things and I pay zero attention, because it’s not important. No matter what you do, people are always going to talk.
So for my team we use a app called playmaker x to get into the playbook we need to get a code to join and the starter already has the playbook and has been in it for a while and I’ve been asking to get in it and he keeps on brushing me off I am cooked? 😅

I want to join the team but i have never playd am 5ft 7in 160 and did 12 pushups /3. Plank 2 min /3.Sit-ups 30 /3 .35 jumping jacks/3.25 squats /3 curls 25/3.Shoulder press 25/3.Floor bench press 25/3 .10-sec Deadlift hang /3 .this for most of the summer but it was less to do and reps since 6/31/24 and I can throw 50 feet but i don t know how to join but it is fairfax hs los angeles
I would contact the coach via email or go to his office at the school and ask how you can join. You will probably need to fill out some forms and get a physical but they will likely let you join

lol had the same exact coach we went 0-7 and then he puts the players at fault for not knowing the plays😭😭

No- I would just stay persistent and continue to remind them. Maybe ask other coaches too

I would ask your coach what you can do to earn another opportunity at WR- like what you need to work on or get better at
