  • During Napoleon's advance through Russia he seeks to catch an ever elusive Russian army. Realising he needs more time, Kutuzov places a holding force while the French Emperor sends in his French and their Bavarian allies to sweep them aside. Will the Russians hold out, or will the Grande Armee prevail?

Think in melee you only suffer a -1 for disorder or shaken not -1 for each. Could be wrong as I've not got the rule book with me.

Yes I was thinking this as well.... also isn't it only cavalry that can press forward after a hth win or am I thinking Hail Caesar

Are the French battalions Large or is it how you like to show your attack columns with the 6 bases. As in liking the look of them.

What tremendous game in every way. Thanks for going into more detail how the game mechanics work Tim. Learning more about this with the book alongside me pausing to check out the wording so I get it right in my head.

Come on bro why did you have to slander the carabiniers like that🤣🤣.On a more serious note i think the only battle in which they retreated before 1814 was at friedland and they had a valid reason for doing that.Your formation suddenly get's hit by a 20 pounder unicorn shell and before you can reorganize you get charged by lifeguard cossacks of all things.Any one with some common sense would have tried to retreat from such a situation.

I think they got punked in the Friedland campaign too. But yeah, they are cool as balls!

@@NapoleonicWargaming yeah that's what i said before 1814 the only time they retreated without orders was at Friedland
