Very interesting. Couple these techniques with the fact that you have on armour to slam into the opponent with the whole body. There is no way he could remain standing if the timing is right. Very cool. To those who say practicing sword is foolish and outdated, You should feel the since of urgency in your body when someone is using a weapon like this against you. It puts a lot of adrenaline in the body and makes you have to work through it. Put that with the distancing principals, and timing you have to have to do it. I think it is well worth it. Besides, it is just plain fun!!

Have you ever watched Koryu kenjutsu? It's fast as lightning.

I know Kuki Shinden-Ryū has several branches that are taught at different organizations such as the Bujinkan and the Genbukan. Do you teach Kuki Shinden-Ryū Happō Biken? Follow-up, does whichever branch you teach have more traditional kata similar to what you would see in iaido practices like Musō Shinden-ryū? Thanks, always watching and I hope to come train sometime in the next couple of years.

Hi Jason, we do teach Kukishin Biken. Seek out the "Advanced Sword" DVD on our web site our on Ebay. www.thedojoinc.com
The Dojo's 'Iaido style' is a mixture of various styles Sensei Norcross has studied, including Muso Shinden, Katori Shinto and Eishin Ryu.
Hopefully, we will see you on the mats with us, someday?
      Thank you!
