Ok everyone, thanks so much for voting! It appears as though I will do widescreen for films 3 minutes and longer, and fullscreen for my usual shorts :)
Wide screen is good because it gets rid of dead space, the only thing I didn't like was the that the figure closest to the camera had the top of his head cut off in an unappealing way. If it's a film, widescreen. If its just a quick short, go with fullscreen
