Hi, i am in struggle. I am a 19 year old in the uk. I want to devote myself fully to god, and be saved of my sins. I’ve seen videos saying that to repent, you need a lifestyle change. I am now trying to change how I live my life. But I still don’t know how to intersect god into my decision making. Of course I can say no to sin, but don’t know how to bind myself to a god infused life.
Hi Seb, a few things I have come to learn. There isn't anything you need to do except for build a relationship with him. Accept Jesus as your lord and Savior (as you reach the father throughthe son), and then do the same thing you would do in your most important relationship. Talk to God through prayer/meditation, and that includes listening back by being silent after laying out your troubles. Then as you build your relationship this way, know he is always with you and you will at that point not want to sin any longer. But know as God is Love in its purest form, you will always be guided, as well as forgiven if you ask for it. The second important way to learn, and this can be combined with your prayer, is reading the Bible. This is often how he can speak to you, and is the most efficient way to learn about him. Just a few thoughts to consider.
