As an older golf pro I have seen a thing or two in golf. Tournament play and qualifiers are a totally different game. It took me years of grinding to figure out how to "play" golf in those conditions. Q school is the most mental and physical grind, followed by Mondays. Once you have status there is a bit of relief and a different type of pressure. In watching a couple/few of your videos, it is evident you have the talent to be successful in that arena, just going to take you some time and patience to break through. Once that happens you will be off to the races. Keep after it.
I think your ability to be vulnerable and honest about your round, is commendable. I also think you playing in the GGG events is better for you than the Epson tour or the LPGA. Expectations can be both positive and negative, and when self-worth is comingled with expectation it almost always becomes negative. I've watched your personality blossom on the GGG channel, and it is so enjoyable to watch. Seeing you laugh and having fun, talking smack, and being buds with the other girls on GGG is joyful and positive. Finally, you are a great golfer, and you have nothing to prove to anyone, so being your true self is really good and beautiful.
Congratulations! You are realizing something most of us don't until we are much older than you. It's the journey to get to the destination that makes the trip worthwhile and life-changing. The friends you make and the adventures along the way are what it's all about.

Speaking from experience as a college softball athlete and coming from a program where the expectations were set so high it can be quite difficult to be able to find joy in the sport and having it be all you’ve known for 16+ years. You cannot help but be hard on yourself either because with so much experience you should be perfect right? Well that is never the case. What worked for me was realizing that I played one of the most difficult sports with the environment playing a factor too, and to even do mediocre was better than most. Tears were definitely shed lol but always remember how proud your younger self would be if they could see you today!I hope this finds you well!

Focus on the things you can control like diet and sleep. Set yourself up to play your best. I found that when I ate a sweet potato either before or during my round I wouldn't get physically tired or mentally fatigue. It's easy to see the passion you have to better yourself at this crazy game! Can't wait to see what the future holds for you

hang in there! that q school seemed liked a gauntlet with all the fringe LPGA and more experienced players in the field. i wish you the best on Epson next year, most golfers don't hit their stride until late 20's/early 30's so time is on your side :)
I became a fan of yours and all the other girls while watching the GGG's. I watched the leader board every day to see how you and Marissa were doing. I cheered for both of you. Life has up's and downs. What counts is what you do when your down. Whatever you decide to do I believe you will be successful. You grind on the course and I see that as toughness and that attribute you will carry with you the rest of your life. Get up and go get um!

My cousin just got his PGA tour card after years of grinding on various tours from PGA Latinoamerica to the PGA Tour Canada to most recently the Korn Ferry Tour. You’ll get there, just keep up the hard work and belief in your game.

That's true about good nutrition leads to good mental health and physical health but finding that on the road is tough and expensive

I became a fan of yours and all the other girls while watching the GGG's. I watched the leader board every day to see how you and Marissa were doing. I cheered for both of you. Life has up's and downs. What counts is what you do when your down. Whatever you decide to do I believe you will be successful. You grind on the course and I see that as toughness and that attribute you will carry with you the rest of your life. Get up and go get um!

My cousin just got his PGA tour card after years of grinding on various tours from PGA Latinoamerica to the PGA Tour Canada to most recently the Korn Ferry Tour. You’ll get there, just keep up the hard work and belief in your game.
