I have contacted the PCC of Hampshire Police and filed a formal complaint regarding my personal situation. I have waited 24months for my first grant, at the cost of the license and twice for a medical. I am fobbed off monthly with a generic letter telling me to continue to wait. I am wondering if a diplomatic demonstration in Winchester, where that county issue licenses. I have also spoken with a BBC south representative who wants to do a story on this and compiling a letter for my local MP. Firearms departments aren't struggling, they are firmly broken.

I understand that at the latest conference, it was implied, after an individual asked if all of the red tape was efforts made by the Government to ban all shotguns for sporting. This now is an attempt upon shooting to have a blanket ban. The panels response was "no comment" Do you also feel that within 18 months to 5 years, shotguns used for pleasure and clay shooting will be banned?
Thanks for this. No, personally, I don't think we are heading for outright bans. However, we keep having to make the case for shooting sports to ensure that, and we must change the social licence on guns and hunting/shooting, too. / Charlie

The piece on the firearms licensing saga was a repeat with an added barrister. Please be careful when using basc data. Their data on firearms licensing has so many flaws and inaccuracies very similar to the BBC.

The Hunting RUclips dedicated to one bloke air gunning vermin, really? That's not the best hunting on RUclips and it seems we got the path of least resistance, minimum effort programmes, this week. Not really what I am paying a subscription for.
