Seriously this isn't what i expected the trailer and new release to be like. I am very disappointed in this release. Still no improvement in the lighting to me
Chaos definitely killed the life out of enscape after purchasing it. Same thing happened to Corona and now its getting left behind by D5, twin motion, lumion etc. Time to let my company switch services i guess. thank you chaos for dropping the ball on this one. you will not be missed. kodak of real-time render

It's a shame that in the early versions, Enscape had the potential to be a leader, but now it seems to have been overtaken by competitors. Even now, it can't even make vehicles move in animations
Because Chaos purchased it. Chaos will never let enscape grown up to beat they own renders engine. Chaos did this to every renderer that threatened vray and vantage, like enscape and corona render.

Oh well, time to move to Twinmotion or Lumion. Enscape will become absolute garbage in a few years. Such a waste.

When will Enscape users gain access to the Cosmos asset library? I'm really disappointed at how long we've had to wait and there's no target date as yet.
How about animations?
The most important step in developing this software is moving vehicles and people. Any other development may be postponed.
Enscspe is a plug-in. It's not 30 GB software like Lumion and D5. You can't expect it to do all kind of things.

@@blackumbrella6199well they all worked kind of the same. enscape is a standalone software with a live preview function, just like the other. and to add moving vehicles, technically, is not that “big”, since its only rigging the tires basically.
unfortunately, not much improvements...No AI, No animation...sad
Enscape used to be slow in its development, with updates coming every 3-4 months. But now, after almost a year, we're left wondering what happened! Q
Still I don't have any immediate plans to switch to a different real-time rendering engine because Enscape is so convenient for me, especially since I work with Revit.
However, there are times when I think about learning other Renderers... The only thing holding me back is the thought of having to start from scratch and learn new rendering techniques.
I'll wait for the next update from Enscape before making my final decision.
The sad part is that you will have to do a "workaround" to install this latest version.

Version 3.4 was the last really good and stable version of Enscape.

Al parecer solo lo compraron para usar parte de su programacion y avances para poder usarlos en su vray y su chaos vantage... no lo compraron porque esten interesados en que sea el mejor.
No teniais que haberos asociado con Chaos group, os estais quedando estancados. Twinmotion y d5 os han superado en unos meses

Please check on vegetable asset for the better quality. For interior scene the ceiling is absorb from the floor such as red carpet the ceiling absorbs too much color from the carpet, that's why it's make the ceiling look too much red. About the lighting in the objects, such as house if we try to zoom out a little bit far, it started to fadeout. In additions, please add any default environment like Lumion, it's kind of good things for the users.

I'm using Enscape 3.5 in 2021 I ask for synchronisation with 3ds max still no solution, somehow I slip to Sketchup for Enscape now the problem is there's no animation option for architecture visualisation
and the improvement to the material editor? I still use D5 render
now enscape is having live for 3dsmax so chaos vantage will be down ? & why would any one use that vantage ?

hola amigo, de casualidad usas el d5 o twinmotion? me gustaría saber si vale la pena testearlos o cambiarse , lo que me ha retenido hasta ahorita es que miro que son un poco lentos para generar los videos, pero no se que tanto sea en comparación a enscape, ya que enscape siento que me genera los video recorridos mucho mas rápido que cualquier software de tiempo real.
@@disenosdecasas4731 twinmotion y D5 son un poco más lentos a la hora de generar imágenes y videos que enscape, pero tienen la ventaja de ser más completo en cuanto a assets y contar con animaciones para personas y vehículos.

@@disenosdecasas4731 Emigre a D5 de una vez. Difiero con respecto a los videos, no se que pc usas pero en una buena pc los videos en D5 quedan mucho mejor que en Enscape y el tiempo de renderizado es el normal para un video en 4K
Is update sucks. No animation, plus the renders take longer...if i wanted to export to V-ray, i would just use V-ray from the beginning.

Considering the negative comments, there is still time to take down the video and postpone the new version to next year. It is miles and ages behind twinmotion, D5 and Lumion. Stop fooling around and get serious Enscape.

Chaos is now more confusing in terms of what to choose from their product line.
Enscape/Vantage/Corona/Vray.
They are promoting every new release as improved but what about the user experience and workflow.
Webgl Based Enscape still lacks the Moving Animation. Even the Alpha video channel. They should learn or check from Chinese Software Sheencity Mars how far this software is and make Enscape same as Mars.
Yeah... moving to D5, this is a major dissapointment, Enscape only needs a few tweaks to be realistic enough to keep up with the competitors: rounded edges, realistic library (specially the vegetation) ,animated objects and not much more, but they choose another route... who asked for an energy performance feature?? nobody. It is the fastest rendering engine on the market, it could be an obvious choice for visualizers and 3D artists, please stop transforming it into a "design tool" for architects, c´mon it just needs a little more realism, a little push.

I'm a little confused by the main message about how you now have feature parity across mac and windows, but then list four new features that are windows only? I accept the Nvidia one is hardware dependant, but was really hoping for some VR support for mac, especially with a first paragraph like this :

I appreciate that you can't get everything working on both platforms, but don't make the big headline about this release saying they are the same, because the people you are targeting (mac users) will be disappointed to discover it's not true.

Placing an asset is harder than the previous version. Also I have to reclick the lights and materials to edit them. I'd take slightly messier lights over this hassle. I downgraded my version to the old one

Ai, Moving objects, people, trees, "enough of the plastic still water", moving traffic, this is not hard to be done!! you can even allow moving, rotating, sliding objects. Although the very nice rendering outcome, the very nice images, walkthrough, but, you still have not made any improvement in the movement only the trees!😅The world is going to Moving interactive VR, AR. you still in the non motion images. Enscape is a great software. but still needs a lot improvements, thank you. Nice video. Good luck

I'm very disappointed with this update... I can't understand why Chaos is not putting any effort on this product, they will make all users to quit for other products (and it won't be for Vray or Vantage in my opinion).

Guys, seriousely, lumion was behind..... and now lumion has glass and subsurface..... come on its not behind anymore
still bad at illuminating materials and cant quite render line light in revit , still lacks UV material mapping and will be hardpressed if you want to adjust a material's position on a surface , most of the assets lack the ability to change their materials which makes furnitures kind of useless , the process of making custom assets is a complete nightmare .
that being said it still is the fastest and best quality render engine in my opinion , hope they start solving those issues soon .
i think animation is not that important for architect but for designer maybe it is

I have felt that Chaos has ruined Enscape but badly, it used to hold large amounts of data perfectly, but lately it has all fallen apart.
I thought it was me or my computer, but it's something I've seen repeatedly regardless of equipment, all since Chaos arrived.
It's a shame, as Enscape really was a great renderer and I even bought the license, I won't be renewing the license for next year, too bad, again.
Still character animation has not yet developed
No animations. No control for lighting for Revit Users. Limited asset library. Guys c'mon you need to catch up.
We understand your expectations and appreciate your feedback. While the number of new features may not always correlate directly with the version number, Enscape 4.0 signifies a major technical overhaul. Thus, we will continue working on these feature as well.
@Enscape3D I'm a heavy enscape user and I appreciate how quick and easy it is to use. But we're slowly moving to Twinmotion now because of the animation features and animated assets. Hopefully this will be added soon :)

Our goal is to help you make decisions quickly, collaborate easily with stakeholders, and achieve great results without needing high-end hardware. On the other hand, D5 primarily concentrates on producing high-quality output images and videos.
Lame, I understand that software improvements aren’t easy, however aspects like its radioactive-colored trees and lighting quality are things they could have been solved long time ago. I’ve been using it for over two years and I feel like it’s still the same.
They don't strive to improve. still no big changes.
The use of AI voice over loses your credibility within a few seconds.
Feels like chaos bought enscape to kill it.
Migrating to mac as it lost its pc user base to faster growing competitors..
