  • This looks like a pretty decent right off the bat. I will let you know how it works out over the year.

It's better to have one and not need it, than not have it and wish that you had one..
I have one, and it came in handily a couple times.

@@ctadventurist in what way did it break on you?

It stopped functioning in all capacity! Wouldn't charge, no longer turned on. Hand crank would work but battery must have crapped out.

Looks like a nice piece of equipment. What type of license (ham, technician, general, etc.) will I need to buy and operator one of these? I’m thinking of going for my license and want to know what I would need for this setup.

Seen a very similar review from youtube car mechanic Scotty Kilmore I believe??? Could be wrong. Seemed really gimmicky, but I guess you never know when u would need to use it one day... As the saying goes in the world of tools. "Its better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it".
P.s. didnt finish watching the review bc i have the attention span of a squirrel 💀😅😅.. Thanks for sharing

I cannot stand Scotty! I think its good for the money, they have expensive metal ones but I cant justify $200 for something I may never need. I do think this will work good out in the garden, easy to hang on the fence and not worry about a cord or batteries.
