Watching her interview makes me feel sad. Specially when she starts to talk about the comparison of her first and second album... I don’t think she was being narcissistic. I think she wasn’t feeling comfortable on stage. You can tell she was very straight forward with questions, no sugar coating... I appreciate that.

I have the strongest feeling Dillon is a really down to earth, creative, kind person. I can relate to her so much here. I don't smile a lot and come off as a bit intimidating, a bit nervous and not very friendly looking.
I believe underneath that serious face is a huge smile and if you got to know her, she could be such a great person.

i laughed so much in this interview. She seems lovely but the attitude Is so bad, I mean why the put downs, why the strong feeling that she dislikes the interviewer and why the pretension. Lots of people, myself included have to get up ay 430 every day for work, its just a routine.

You have to understand that the spotlight is not an easy burden to carry. Yes, you may have to get up earlier than her and do more physical work than her but trust me, she has at least as much if not way more stress than you and I. She is just human after all and being watched by hundreds of people for a majority of your time and having your work under scrutiny of the public is not easy. It's very very hard and it has destroyed people in the past. Dillon is just human and every human has problems. She might be going through some private troubles, many people here say she has anxiety and depression, so that's a even worse. Imagine being depressed but having your livelihood depend on the limelight.
What I'm trying to make clear is that her job, even though it might seem to you like a better one than yours, is just as taxing and stressful as yours, if not worse.

I disagree. Dillion is a lovely sensitive human being. She is clearly uncomfortable with being in the spotlight. The interview asked strange questions. It is apparent that she didn't know much about the artist.

Am I the only one that was waiting and watching for a question about 1335 and also a better interviewer was needed you learn artist through there music it seemed like she didn’t know her music at all

ich darf echt nicht zu viel von der person sehen- ich mag die musik, aber ich finde dillon hat echt eine furchtbar narzisstische art. und man merkt irgendwie, dass sie der meinung ist, schon alles zu wissen -mehr als die interviewerin.. ich mag das nicht und ich halte es für gefährlich... ich finde auch, sie sieht fertig/aufgequollen aus..

Ich glaub das Problem mit Dillon ist, dass sie sehr in sich geht. Ich hab immer das Gefühl, dass sie sehr in ihrer Eigenen Welt lebt und nicht gerne nach außen geht. Ich glaube sie kriegt diesen Kontakt mit der Aussenwelt nur durch eben ihre Musik und ist sonst immer in ihrer eigenen kleinen Welt. Das merkt man auch sehr an den Texten und welche Bedeutung sie für sie haben. Sie ist eine unfassbar gute Musikerin, aber mit ihr eben eine Konversation zu führen ist schwer, weil sie sehr in ihrer eigenen Welt ist und sehr Ich-bezogen, wie ich finde.

Ich finde eher, dass eure Kommentare narzisstisch geprägt sind - viel eher als dass ich sie als narzisstisch bezeichnen würde.
Bei sich selbst zu sein ist nicht gleich Egoismus.

Furchtbar narzisstisch? Die Interviewerin fragt doch in dem Interview nur Fragen über Dillons Person und ihren kreativen Prozess. Und natürlich ist sie der Meinung das alles schon zu wissen, weil sie das alles auch schon weiß, weil es um sie persönlich geht. Niemand kennt Dillon besser als Dillon. Es macht gar keinen Sinn was du da geschrieben hast.

in retrospect the interviewer was really nice, and she was being rude but after a lot of time dealing with depressed friends around me, i understand it's their way to proyect onto others so they steam off. I love her but it is what it is, you can add up that she doesn't like to be in the spotlight and suffers anxiety etc and makes sense for her attitude in here. The people saying "she was asking weird questions" or "she can't know more about Dillon than herself" are delusional and fandumb cemented.. she was nice and interested on Dillon and her album. the comparasion with björk-like comebacks to the interviewers makes no sense too bc those people where rude or pretentious to björk, but in this case, no.. sorry, I like her but I don't have to defend her on everything like if i have no brain.....
