- This little dog was tied to a truck and left to freeze outside, with no proper shelter and tethered with a small chain that barely allowed him to move. And all that as a punishment for not being good at herding. Loki is now in our care at @HowlOfADog in Romania, he needs an adoptive family so if you think you can offer him a loving home, please let us know. Poor little fella, that chain was so short he had no room to move and to leave him in the cold like that tied to that piece of rust what a horrible way to treat an animal. Thankfully you found him in time and he is such a happy little dog.
Awe! I am so happy to know that there are angels like my community mental health worker & peoples like u, as well that save animals. I also saved a few cats, a couple are living with me. :-)
Romania is roughly split in two, 50 percent rural, 50 per cent urban. That means around 10 million people in rural area. That means easily 1 or 2 million dogs. You won't believe the scale of abuse there. Most of them chained like this. People are odious and with primitive mentalities in general. They simply can't get the ideea that animals have rights too. And the ideea of neutering or spaying is something totally alien. They laugh at you when you mention this and show you the bag, their beloved method. Usually they get rid of the puppies throwing them in rubbish bags. The things I saw there....
If its too cold for you to stay outside it's too cold for a dog. He didn't even have the ability to move to keep warm. Thank you for putting yourself in a difficult position to rescue this dog. I'm so glad he is safe and warm.
I think a husky might be overly warm in temps that I would find cold, but dogs are family and shouldn't be left outside.
People can be real pieces of shit when it comes to mistreating animals. God bless the person who gave a damn about this dog’s well being. The world is a much better place because of the kindness of a few individuals.

Agreed! My wife and I rescued pets for years and the things we saw were disgusting. Most of the people we dealt with saw absolutely nothing wrong with mistreatment of animals. On several occasions we ended up having to steal the animals to get them and I have no regrets about doing it. We are both too old to do the field work now but we help as much as we can.

@@userxyz77 In Romania you will get tired very quickly. The scale of abuse there is unbelievable. For most animals are just trash. But most people are trash there anyway. I was born there and the things I saw....

So instead of using this power to torture or supress other animals, humans need to show their superiority (if there is any in comparison to other animals) by being compassionate and following the feeling of brotherhood towards all. Thank you a million times for your work. My own dog started her life as a beaten "chain dog" in Romania. She was tossed out when she got pregnant and finally had 6 of her 7 puppies kicked to death by drunks and the one she managed to save from those savages unfortunately later died from parvo. Thanks to an organisation much like yours she is now living her best life with me in Sweden. The work you do is amazing ❤

I just lost my beloved cockatiel in the freezing snow on Feb 01,22 I have looked everywhere and cried everyday. I pray she is ok. I am so distraught and grieve and to see a puppy directly mistreated breaks my already broken heart ❤️🩹 please pray that someone finds her, rescues her as this beautiful puppy has been. Look at his beautiful eyes. Easy to see he is smart and eager to learn and to please. He may not have been any good at herding - or - that heartless human was no good at training. He will make someone a great companion - so glad you got him.

And, oh boy, is that dog adoptable or what?? These chained and abused dogs are sooo cute, friendly, wonderful and adoptable. I'm in the US and that dog would be adopted ASAP as he's just the right size, age, temperament for both apts and houses.

This type of abuse is so prevalent and needs to be punished
Unfortunately dog chaining is not considered abuse in Romania and it is not being punished, but the law still does require it to have a proper shelter/crate to protect him from harsh weather conditions.

Seems the sheep farmer wanted a herding dog and since he was not it he punished him by putting him on a short chain in the cold neglected, some humans are so damn cruel! Thank you for rescuing Loki and freeing him as well as loving him!
