As a Thai, traditionally we are taught to be happy with what we have therefore accepting any gifts are not natural to us especially large amounts of money. We are happy with our lot, what we have and use our efforts to get ahead. It’s the cultural thing.

Most Thai men prefer the tip... Slowly, before the rest of a man's caulk enters your but whole.
And this prick is going round making out that he's an amazing guy using other people's money. Acting all high and mighty because you have a lot of money doesn't cut it. You want to give a tip; don't film it. You are literally doing it for you not them.

Hey Humandata, I'm more than humbled by your comment. Her reaction was priceless and I'm glad I got to help her out a little. The way I see it is I like making street food videos, if I give the person working $100 and the video does well because of that and it adds to the entertainment value then I'm creating a postive feedback loop and get to make more videos eating good food and making peoples day.

She may not want to take it because sometimes you feel beholden to someone who gives you money. If you were a total stranger she might be more likely to take it than from someone she might see on a regular basis.
I love that you are giving a big tip, but I think just tipping a normal amount everywhere that you get kindness and good service is most important and is something I wish would trend in videos made by foreigners in Thailand. I watch a lot of people's videos who are in Thailand for the first time and I always say, "...don't forget to give a tip to the people you are showing in your vlogs!" and "... don't forget to give money when you visit a temple..."

Maybe they do not always understand the idea behind the "Western tip" , and perhaps they might be afraid you "want something in return". In Asia, however, "a present, or gift" is part of their culture, and they more likely understand your real intention: to simply give because out of appreciation.
