I remember this one. The monster was actually cursed skin of a monster that greatly resembled a classic clown. Whoever put the suit on, it gradually merged with the wearer turning them into a vicious clown monster. You have two choices. Feed the beast six kids or cut the head off. If the beast feeds on six victims the creature will release the wearer
The original guy in the movie who knew about the clown suit who survived it, did it because he snuck 6 sickly, weakened kids out of a hospital.... or something.
Clown is definitely an underrated gem. And I heard it got bad reviews because all the child death made people uncomfortable ... but that's what horror's all about. Disturbing and horrifying viewers.
@@redwolf4611 I do get that, and that probably turns people away. It’s because of that they don’t realise that Pennywise and The Clown Demon are two very different creatures with very different origins
It was a really crappy IT. wasn't well executed, directed, or written. Some wicked parts an had a decent clown. Worth a watch for horror fans. Each to their own
@@victor.faustus So that the clown won't kill her and cut open her guts because she knew Jack is smart and he's gonna hide anyway which will give her some time to find a weapon.
Showed this to my son to desensitize him to clowns. Didn't realize it was a horror movie. He liked it. He's ok with clowns. I don't know if i should be worried.
I feel bad for the dad he was turned into a monster and atleast early on was fully aware of the fact that he was killing and eating kids with no way of stopping
I remember streaming this years ago. I thought at fist that it was going to be this silly and campy film, but as the movie progressed, I was surprised by how creepy it turned out to be. It's quite effective.
I love the lore aspect of the story suggesting that clowns were literal demons that fed on children that humans turned into entertainment for kids ironic
Best-weapon for DIY: axe-handle + carpenter-hammer-head; the two parts don't naturally fit together, but with a little work, tipping the axe-handle with the light-weight-hammer creates a monster, add an over-strike-guard & you have the hardest hitting tool, bar none.
This was the first film from director Jon Watts. His next movies included Cop Car (with Kevin Bacon), Spiderman Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home.
Anybody else find it funny that the idea is kinda like Venom but with a killer clown? And then the director would ironically later direct the Tom Holland Spider-Man movie?
Ridiculous movie, cruel, needlessly gruesome and completely unfair to the protagonist, forcing an innocent man into a no-win situation for making unwitting mistake. But the effects are pretty cool.

Good to know.
I always think The Man In The Suit analogue horror took inspiration from movies like Clown 2014, which involves a monster suit transformation
The original guy in the movie who knew about the clown suit who survived it, did it because he snuck 6 sickly, weakened kids out of a hospital.... or something.
So it works like the Jack in the Box?
5. Also 3:56 it stole the Kool-Aid Guy's entrance

Plus a lot of critics hate Eli Roth because he isn't "woke" enough by their standards.
if anything it got bad reviews because the story very close to steven kings IT franchise.
Reasoning: a supernatural killer clown that eats children.

Boo people gave it bad reviews for that?? I’ll give those people a bad review 😌

I like that she at least tried to fight back. Like at least she put some effort into surviving unlike most horror films
My issue: why would she yell out to Jack, drawing the attention of the child-eating demon?

This movie deserves more love. Great video
Yep
I feel bad for the dad he was turned into a monster and atleast early on was fully aware of the fact that he was killing and eating kids with no way of stopping
Fr, I really wished he would be able to reunite as his normal self with his family before leaving
i hate how horror movies ignore the fact that it takes LITERALLY 4 or 5 seconds to get out of most houses.
it is not anywhere near that hard 😂
No transformation in that video

That mom is one tough cookie
My dad say's Tough cookie a lot thanks for reminding me!
You cant help but feel bad,I mean the poor guy just wanted to make his kids birthday special...but ended up ruining it unknowingly by improvising
10 years later and it terrifies me
10 comments later and this surprises me.

I never knew the movie existed but I'm terrified

This movie is definitely a timeless classic still creepy to this day 😂
Roth has done it again!
Damn the monster effects in this film looked incredible.
I think what really scared me the most about this movie is the fact that we see the man progressively turning into a monster and struggling with it
And when removing the clown nose took half his nose off too.
Oh man this looks awesome. It’s like pennywise on coke.
😂
And this was the movie that made me forever terrified of clowns. This and the 2017 “IT!” Remake.
I advise you to watch Terrifier and Terrifier 2.

Hello Guys Mystery Blood Rainbow and There is No Blood and Laboratory 100 years ago???
I thought this film was very well done. I was thoroughly invested in his transformation..

I think homie the clown from living color is scarier 😂
I totally agree 😅
He is der cloyne according to the evil clown suit legend explained in the movie.
Great movie
My childhood trauma
How many clown movies are there again? It started with killer clowns from outer space.🎉
From what I know: tarrifier 1 and 2, Clown, stitches, it chapter 1and 2, killer clown from outer space
The cloyne is soo creepy
From hence forth I shall now refer to all clowns as cloynes
@@WalterEKurtz-kp2jf😂
maybe its transformed already😅
It is. The transformation happens over the entire length of the movie, what this video meant to say was this is the final stage of the transformation.
Poor sledge hammer technique and how did the little boy manage to slip through stairs above him at the end?
good movie

I saw this on Netflix 3 to 4 years ago.
What is the story of this clown
Does anyone think that they bailed the old man out of jail after they find out that Kent was the one that killed the kid in the tubes?
Pennywise the Clown got nothing on this clown. Way scarier and more evil looking than Pennywise
This was the first film from director Jon Watts. His next movies included Cop Car (with Kevin Bacon), Spiderman Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home.
Pennywise but without golden lights

Bro has his throat slit open and is still alive? Ok discount it is off my horror list . Mf can't even die like a normal monster.
*U DO NOT KILL CLOWN. CLOWN KILLS U.*
Madness Combat, right?
ive heard reviews claiming the clown possession was an analogy for the dad's descent into pedophilia but i found nothing in the film to suggest that
i want to watch this movie but idk what its on
I think either Tubi or FreeVee is what I watched it on a few weeks ago. They’re free, you don’t even need an account.
happy 10 years
Reading these comments makes me want to go watch this movie
Them abs though
Definitely not a pregnant girl's Abs.
and the transformation?
😨CLOWN😨
This why we hate scary clowns 😅
This a monster who happens to have clown features
This is a great film very creepy
I can't think of this movie without thinking of The Clowning episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force where Carl transforms into a clown bc of the shoes 🤣🤣
Oh he becomes a feel demon not human at all in the end I seen the trailor and 2 clips but scared to watch and I don't even have cloraphobia
its Roth´s IT , nuff say
Oo very scary
Who else thought this was a poorly done IT remake when it first came out?
Over on Tubi it says 2016. Same movie.
It was 2016 I’m sure of it
People love this film in the comments!🎉

Yikes, Art Garfunkel hasn't aged well.
Better than IT with Skarsgård
Classic horror movie

It has to eat children, it's trying to get to the fetus.
Unrealistic
Oh my goodness it’s almost as if that’s the point
It's a horror movie, not a documentary.
