I'm overwhelmed by the fact that great majority of top 10 tracks have heart-breaking inspirations behind. Happy to see that trance is so much more than a music and it can bring not only joy but also healing and solace.
Armin and other more commercial-ish types of DJs are not my favorite, but what he has done with ASOT is truly remarkable. I enjoy streaming as many episodes as I can and my love and respect for Armin only grows year on year. Congratulations to the ASOT family.

What an amazing show. After living through the trance peak of 1998 - 2000 I never thought the scene was this strong. I’m blessed to be back listening to you all again. I’ve seen you guys live in those years and I’m so proud of how both AVB and Ferry have progressed in these years. The amount of love and positivity you guys project in your show in mind blowing. I knew back in the spring when Rest of our Lives came out that it would be a top 5 of the year for sure. Glad to see it at #2 My faves Cosmic gate & Armin
I’m more impressed that Above & Beyond made it in the top 10 amongst 49 other uplifting tracks. I personally think 99% of all uplifting tracks sound the same. So to see A&B in there makes me proud of them. I guess there were a couple others that weren’t uplifting like Cosmic Gate and few others but not much. I am surprised “…Where You Started” by Purple Haze or “A Place They Called Home” by Jason Ross didn’t make it.

If you are a true Trance lover like me, please check out his live set In Loving Memory of Ellie Gray - Live @ Luminosity Beach Festival 2022 It is the greatest trance set of last year and probably all time! A must listen!
He only released 3 tracks in 2022 (obviously dealing with stuff), 2021 was where he really broke out. Sea of Thoughts and Innerspace were the two best tracks of 2021.
Although it's at 43 now, to me, Dave Neven's Love You More (00:33:26) is among top 5 of this year, emotionally technically lyrically beautiful. This is one of the songs I'll go to climb K2 with in 5 years time.
Great show with many bangers. Few points - Ballard of the Southern Sea should have been much higher. The guy in the black tshirt with the glasses - respect to you sir never stopped smiling all night, was loving it, was in good company with the girl beside him. Unlike that other girl in the black floating around, was in another ASOT ep was well talking to Armin and spent more time on her phone??!! Sour face all night. How does people like that get in there
