Kid I been playing for 50 years. I got nothin' over you. Keep it up. You will go places. & Please, for your own good.> Monetize your account. Your going to go viral, when people find out about you .
Euphonium is definitely an under rated instrument, and that makes me sad because it's the best sounding best instrument in my opinion :/ I've been playing eupho since last year and I transitioned from sax
Great. You have a wonderful tone, and flow to your playing. Such a mature sound and you are just a young guy! Love listening to you play. I was just looking up Euphonium to get an idea of it's range, and I stumbled on your post. Is the fingering similar to the trumpet? Also noticed there is another valve on the side?
Thanks very much! The fingering for the euphonium is pretty similar to the trumpet, albeit a few small differences. The fourth valve is used to get notes which are too low for 3 valved instruments of the same range and that cannot be achieved by playing pedal notes.
+MrFireblade67 Fingers exactly like a trumpet. At least American ones do it may be diff. in the UK. You can use trumpet music, or trombone music. Euphonium & baritone music come written in bass & treble clef. Fourth valve is a compensator for lowest notes reaching into the tuba range not all have them.
I play Euphonium and baritone horn for my high school band and am quite renowned for being excellent at playing. Does anybody have tips for improvising solos in jazz? Jazz is an area that I need to improve on because I plan on joining jazz band next year. Any suggestions?
@@kiyazuno5949 It's called "The Real Book" which is used by all jazz musicians as a guide for building jazz improvisations. Playing jazz tunes like this aren't written out note-by-note. The Real Book gives the foundations of the chord changes and the major anchoring notes. You then add in the 5ths and whatever else you want to play on top of it.
Hi Cameron Just one question. I see you have a book in front of you, tell me the music written in that book are that the sheet music for the song you playing? and how do i get the sheet music for the songs that i get in iReal Pro because the music is written in chord format that i do not understand. Ps:I am new to this iReal Pro
Try writing some of your own music. You have potential, just don't limit yourself and be one of those piano teachers pets. You can't make money off of anything unless it is your own.
El Poncho Salvaje Hi man, I agree that it is important to write your own music (and I do some of that). But standards and looking at the origins are fundamental to playing jazz, and most musicians I know do a mix of contemporary composition and playing standards. I don't think copyright is such an issue because of the age and nature of the tunes (more like folk songs)
This kid plays like a pro, such talent!! I swear he would go places

It sucks because he plays euphonium,
That instrument will never go viral :(

Trellis Rose i agree, i went from sax to euph too, i didnt expect it to be so easy to transition from tenor sax
Same I went from sax to euph and the tuba euphonium is the most beautiful instrument in the brass band
you're so good at playing euphonium 😊I play jazz flute, too😀
Thanks!
I'm a university student and can't play this well. Awesome job mate
Thanks a lot!
Wow. It's awesome that there are other euphoniums in jazz
Pretty hip stuff.. Viva Euphonium
Sounds really cool! I didn't know they made mutes for euphoniums... There's the intrusive thought of putting one on a trumpet
The next Rich Matteson!!!!
Dude, you're swingin'! "Don't puff your cheeks", say that to Dizzy. Ha! Keep honkin'!

This is true but it can't also be used as an alternate for 1 and 3 do you read treble or bass clef
Nice job! Is there sheet music to this? Also, what horn and mouthpiece do you use?
Thanks! I use the real book, my euphonium is a York preference 3068 and the mouthpiece is 4G Vincent Bach.

Young man play that horn then. Very clean tone...

The Real Book has a vast number of songs with the tunes to those on iReal Pro, and it is what I mostly use for these.
Do you have a link for the The Real Book please.
It is a book that can probably be bought from your local music store.
Thanks📯🎼
Das ist gut ich nicht klingen dies gut auf der posaune :D
Mine doesn't sound like that :0
He has a mute on the bell which makes like a swing jazzy kinda sound

Did u find it ?
ユーフォニアムでもジャズって出来るんだ。。

Bernie's tune
@adianna hermandez
In the real book
Cameron Scott
hey can you link me to the sheet music
Search 'real book PDF' and it should come up I think
Cameron Scott
ok thanks
Dont puff yout cheeks, it messes up your embosure (i cant spell) and affects the tone quality of the sound.
puffing of the cheeks is ok in jazz because you often want that sound.
+Night Winger Who cares if he puffs his cheeks as long as he is making good sounds. Some of the greatest brass players in history were cheek puffers.
Aight kid nice, just stop puffin your cheeks
Dragbrass Repair true, I respect that
