- Does the Madstad windshield have a major design flaw? I recently purchased a Madstad windshield for my 2020 Yamaha Mt09. After providing detailed instruction how to install it, I took it for a test ride.

A childish tantrum caught on video. Really professional throwing of parts and boxes.
You’re going to love it. I have one in my 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900GT. It’s a total game changer. Hope you like it. Also, I absolutely love your channel. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you! I think It'll be alright.
Madstad makes great custom fully adjustable for windshields designed to fit your year/make/model. I bought one from them for my Vulcan-S years ago. I traded that bike in. I never had any issues with the windshield.
Looks a bit flimsy to me but then if it was fitted solidly the the plastic might crack. Do you still have your z900rs?
Z900RS is no longer with me. Great motorcycle but a little top-heavy and tall for me. I'm kinda short other than that perfect motorcycle.
You would think for that kind of money, all the brackets would have the nuts welded on. It's not abad looking windshield, are you looking over it or through it?
I had one that came in my Harley that the top was right in my line of site, drove me crazy and had to get a lower one to see over. Thanks Benny!
Hey John! The windshield is below my sight, really close to where it needs to be, I actually wouldn't mind it just a little taller. Also, this shield does have a lot of room for adjustment, I like that. Time will tell how much I really like it or dislike it. Thanks for checking in.
They (Madstad) have a sizing chart where you measure your position while sitting on the bike, then you order the windshield size based on your personal numbers. Wind buffeting sucks, and if your windshield isn't fully adjustable it is a crapshoot on whether it will work for your body size or not when ordering.
So three parts, that Madstad tackles:
1. multiple Windshield sizes (per bike)
2. Adjustable up/down
3. Adjustable front/rear
Good products, though they don't have windshields for every year/make/model in existence. If your bike is on their list, I would definitely recommend them over a "universal generic" windshield solution.
That little bit of wiggle is intentional... This bike isn't designed to have a big screen, therefor it's not got big braces for one, especially one this big, therefor as it's only mounted down low, if it didn't have that bit of wiggle and was mounted solid, enough wind pressure could potentially damage the mountings or worse, snap the screen
WTF is that orange box in the back?!?.. RIP taste
