I’m heartbroken. I know his paternal family from Mississippi. The Porter Brothers were Basketball gods in Mississippi. Then one of them married a White woman and they produce two basketball sons such as Michael Porter & now ban Jontay Porter. I know their family is devastated. The Porters thought they were better than most Black families in Mississippi because they were a family of many talented pro athletes, educated with degrees, wealthy, etc. One of his uncles is my classmate. Lesson learned: Never turn your nose up at others thinking you are better because Karma has a way of humbling families 👀🙏🏿💯.
