Can someone PLEASE explain this to me: I know Leafpool had the vision about Brambleclaw defending the Clan, but why did StarClan choose HIM instead of Brackenfur? If Brackenfur became leader, the Clan wouldn't be chaos with Bramblestar being possessed and all. And maybe, just perhaps, Ashfur wouldn't bother to possess Bramblestar at all..

Swiftpaw: We really didnt see much of him tbh, hes a loyal cat yes but he didnt even become a warrior. Mudclaw: Ehhhh I would say no, hes a good cat at heart but he literally sent a group of cats to attack others. Would he be a Brokenstar 2.0? No, but probably not much better than Onestar. Hollyleaf: Like Mudclaw, shes a good cat at heart but she killed one of her clanmates. I know it was for a good reason but... Also shes really stubborn which isnt a good trait for a leader (i cant believe I just dissed Hollyleaf) Cloudpelt: YES. If we had Cloudpelt as leader the whole Brokenstar thing probably wouldnt of happened. Literally couldve saved cats lives. Keep in mind this is just my opinion and I dont mean any hate!

He definitely deserved to live, but he wasn’t around long enough to show any good leadership qualities MudClaw: I’m a little bit torn on this case. He fair and square served his deputyship, but TallStar was right. He would’ve led WindClan into unneeded battles, and he was to arrogant and controlling. But honestly OneStar didn’t do much better. Cloudpelt was the deputy after Foxheart had died under RaggedStar. But more of what he could be more recognizable is that he was the kit that Yellowfang helped when she was opened to the opportunity to be a medicine cat by her powers. Later, they save Cloudpelts life again, having them both share a strong bond. But sadly, Cloudpelt dies of blood lost. He really was a great character who deserved more attention. He's in Yellowfangs Secret. He definitely deserved to have been a leader. He had such a kind heart. He told yellowfang that he wishes to some day have a mate and kits of his own! But that never happened..
If you make a part 4 of this, can you put in jayfeather I think he is wise and a well developed character although, many people think he is a ruthless, cruel character because of the ay he acts. But in my opinion I think he is a great choice for a leader and he shows that you don’t need eyes to see the good in someone. Quotes: “I forgave her eventually. Tallstar wanted Windclan to be friendly of other clans, and knew that wouldn’t be the case if Mudclaw became leader. Onewhisker was a loyal, trustworthy and kind cat, and he had good leadership skills. He assisted Fireheart and Greystripe on the journey back to Windclan camp (after Shadowclan drove them out) and was very helpful. Tallstar knew that Onewhisker would keep the ‘alliances’ with the other clans, specifically Thunderclan, after he passed. He knew that Firestar and Onewhisker were friends, but he also knew that their loyalty to their clans would make everything right. If Mudclaw had been leader, their friendship’ with other clans would have been- well- terrible 😂
But when Onestar became leader he started to act distant from Firestar, and started to act more agressive towards others. he betrayed his mate and son 'Darktail' and it seemed that he stuggled with the leadership role, like Clear Sky.
I get that swift paw died but before that he still managed to fight of four dogs and he was only an apprentice. Meanwhile all of the clans (that’s at least 70 cats) running away when one dog runs a them😂😢
(my opinion) I think that Swiftpaw didn’t even close deserve to be a leader, but I agree that Brightheart or Cloudtail would have made great leaders. Especially Deadfoot, Lionheart and Stonefur.
Why is no one in the comments talking about mudclaw? If they are, theyre saying bad things about them? Tbh, he served as windclan's deputy for so long, and for tallstar to just change the deputy while he wasnt even there to witness it was kindave sad for him. He put so much work into caring for his clan, and yes, he was technically a villain, but can you blame him, hes just like how everyone likes mapleshade as a villain character because she went through something hard, and overcomed it with revenge. Mudclaw was similar, although Mapleshades backstory was worse, we arent getting into her. Mudclaw gathered up a group of cats from different clans to ambush onewhisker, and windclan so that he could be leader and there would be no onestar. Onestar was a horrible cat in the books after becoming leader. He literally left kits and his mate to die. Personally, Mudclaw was stronger, and more commanding, with good speaking skills. He deserved to be leader of windclan
