- Behind the scenes look at airport operations. Today I am attaching a Passenger Boarding Bridge to the 2L door of a Boeing 777-300ER
KJFK - John F. Kennedy International Airport
Bro you actually find something you are awesome at
Thank you, Mr. Benson, for this video. My 3 year old baby boy loves the aviation, ATC towers and everything around. Recently he discovered jet bridges. Thank you again.
SCRAP!Nice video my G
Wow, it's like an arcade game :)
yes it's actually pretty easy to operate it though
Yes but if you miss you damage a 300millions aircraft
@@Fluxy.mp4 Sometimes more. :D
The airline I work for we need our Hi-Vis safety vest on while operating the bridge. We CSA's and Gate Agents also handle the bridging and retracting. The FA opens the door after we knock and we hand them the PCA (Pre-conditioned Air Unit) and then put the safety shoe under the open door.
Operator: *Knock* *Knock*
Aircraft Crew: "Who's there?"
Operator: "Yo Mamma"
*Aircraft leaves to another airport*
nice 😁
So cringe lol
I like how the jet bridge front kinda just sucks into the plane
Just wondering what kind of bell sound is that when you move the jetway? It sounds so cool, especially when you are watching a plane get ready to pushback.
Sounds to me like the old fire alarms at the Maryland School For The Blind.
It's a warning bell, kind of like the backup beep on trucks and forklifts, it warns everyone outside near the jet bridge it is moving, stay clear.
We press it three times first, then it rings continuously once the bridge is in motion.
When I build my dream home, I know this may sound strange, but I want to put in a foundation where I can convert staircases into jetways, moving walkways, or even escalators, and vice versa. Accessibility for everyone. And I would have a control panel in a room on the main floor, where there will be buttons with print (small, large, and raised) and Braille characters. "J" for "Jetway", "E" for "Escalator", "T" for "Travelator" (Moving walkway), and "S" for "Staircase". On a wall at the top and bottom of each staircase, there'll be buttons of that same configuration. When each button is pushed, an alarm bell rings, with a spoken voice that will say, "Attention! Attention! Please be careful! Converting to, ____.", with ____ representing either "Staircase", "Escalator", "Moving Walkway", or "Jetway". What do you think of that idea?
Lol sounds fun
I wish I had that job
No u don't.
To be honest, the gate agents do it and they are paid very little while dealing with shithead passengers who miss their flight.
Where do you live? In Canada, it's easy to get a job that includes this.
Are does jetways easy to handle?
Well I just started acouple months ago and I'm still extremely nervous so not rlly lol
It's just like landing a plane 😂😂
