I'm searching "Volocopter noise level" but all I can find are videos with heavy music tracks in them. Any special reason for why you don't seem to want people to hear how loud it is?
This is my concern too. It's gonna be loud. I also don't see how it could ever be used as mass transit, just the wealthy, who barely need it. So the public approval and regulatory hurdles are going to be more expensive and uphill than the money they stand to make.
As a aircraft enthusiast, i must say that Volocopter has potential to be Mahoosive; as a former member of the British Air Training Corps, our squadron based in Great Britain would have loved to see this back in the 1980’s.
Don't hurry them. As they said, "you have to understand the process". Maybe in 7 more years the understand the process. It's a ball with 5 fans on top, it's not as easy to make as you would expect, calm down dude.
@@Groaznic oh no, don’t get me wrong, who am I to hurry them, and I understand these processes take a while and I really admire these guys, I could never create something like this! I just want to understand the point of it- are volocopters going to be eventually sold or not? Or this is just a cool futuristic fantasy.
I´m waiting for another 10 years and still not being operational... I cannot imagine the noise impact and environmental impact (especially birds) of this machine flying above our heads
Thanks for your comment. We've chosen safe landing spots for our prototype and are continuously working to improve our infrastructure. You'll find more information about our routes and operations of Paris on our Website. www.volocopter.com/newsroom/volocopter-paris-routes/
This is so excruciating to watch because of the drama production values and the self aggrandizing filming that it would be right at home on History channel between an episode about the lizard people and an episode with the "IT'S ALIENS" guy.
Great, in a world with Volocopters you would have traffic noise everywhere! Not only on the streets around you like now but also in the sky above you. Traffic noise everywhere!!
You would think that the thousands of investors across the planet who invest in hundreds of these BS drone startups and roll a combined few trillions of bucks would have the common sense to realize the absolute insane noise level of even as few as 10 of these bombers hovering above, and stop shoving "THIS IS THE FUTURE EMBRACE IT BECAUSE IM POURING A BILLION INTO IT AND I DONT UNDERSTAND IT" down our throats. Idiocracy, and plutocracy, is what it is.
Literally every VTOL video from every company hides the insane amount of noise with music and narration. Clearly it's loud AF, which means it's not a realistic mass-market solution. Nice try Volo, but eventually you're gonna have to admit the sound issue exists.
I think, your drone is the safest for passengers, because it has a lot of motors.
I wish you a good luck!
How many motors? :D
If it was just about the total number of motors, then the lilium jet should be „the safest“ as it got 30 motors lol

It’s been 7 years of videos. Still don’t understand if you can buy this thing or not.

Fun project for a decade of work but this will not be for sale or use.

lol
@@Groaznic its not even possible.
Thats all you reached after 11 years of development?
Please hurry guys. Everyone stuck in traffic is counting on you. 😬 Great video. Please keep sharing your progress.

Magnifique
Just tried it in MSFS 2020 😂. It's a pain to fly long distances and takes forever to ascend and descend, but it super for low height city flights.
Where do you land? Usually my taxis dont take me to empty hillsides.

As we need more energy efficient solutions in the future there is no room for inefficient mobility solution like this. Sad, but true.

The propellers need guards to prevent bird strike.
certainly not.
SHOW us these limits, then!
Can it carry rockets?

Will be great when these are falling from the sky… or into things. Imagine the disruption to birds that would fly at a similar altitude.

Don't understand the point of this at all
10.000.000.000 humans in about 23 years.
So? What will it help with? @@sonnybkh2080
