Music of the Land is a collection of songs, some of which were born on the lands of Éiriú (Ireland) and some on the lands of Australia.
The EP serves as a bridge between the two places, celebrating the melting pot of diversity that exists there, and in particular, honouring the indigenous roots from both lands.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, I spent the first half of my life without any knowing of my pagan roots. The second half, nestled in the arms of my chosen home, Australia, has been a soul led path, with all roads leading home.
The land of Éiriú (Ireland) and Her mythical roots have been reaching out to me, along with many of the Irish diaspora. There is a remembering taking place, a reclamation of our indigeneity.
'Music of the Land' is an honouring of our connection to place and to each other.
