- As research for my breakdowns on Khabib Nurmagomedovs grappling and ground game I employed a Russian translator to subtitle various training videos. I provide the video here for archival purposes. I hope it is something you enjoy as I have a few other videos like this if you are interested.

When khabib likes his opponent, he submit him to avoid amount of damage to him. When he hates his opponent, he made lots of smashes first before going for submission.

He uses plenty of ground and pound with everyone,does not mean he hates them...just that he watches not to get too aggressive and watches more over them not to get injured or something .....

And they say how boring his fights are. The speed at which he calculates multiple scenarios during a fight and then implement them is seriously mind boggling. The reason why anyone who hasn't personally fought him inside a cage boasts how not a big deal his ground game is shows their level of inexperience. When Robert Whittaker says that Khabib's grappling is on another level, I believe him.
He's a physical genius. So much technicality not to mention his impressive athleticism; it's amazing to watch.
He is very intelligent thats why he always wins.
This is why he champ. His not hiding the knowledge and share benefit to everybody.
Only legend like khabib can apply this techniques in real battle

Bro this is scary if you think about it. Notice how he said "like the americans", if he knows how most americans train and then uses their eagerness to escape to bait them into a submission, that's so scary. And he's right, most Wrestlers or BJJ practitioners unless they're comfortable in their guard are also eager to escape, whether it be being down on points, the scorecard, or just in a bad situation. This is really scary, Conor don't blink.

Sir Nosy what do you mean don't blink? I damn near fall asleep during his fights. Matter of fact there are pictures of people sleeping in the crowd while he fights. Khabib will be sleeping in his own damn fight when he fights conor.

He was pointing out that our judges will score you as losing. He also said when showing techniques from off the back that you need to escape, go for a submission gotta do something for exactly the same reason.
I'm guessing you haven't trained wrestling or grappling because almost every thing you learn to do is looking to exploit reactions and set up traps.

Yeah I try to adopt this mentality when playing BJJ. I'm just very scrambly and active and I don't like to chill. In the rare occasion that I have someone in my closed guard I'm immediately trying to sub or sweep or take their back, and I keep annoying them and my abs are activated. I don't like just lying down, I imagine the dude would just beat me senseless. Way more fun that lazy jitsu some people do nowadays.

This sequence is just same what he did against Michael Johnson and justin gaethje. Man he showcased all his techniques still no one had the counter. Soo good on the ground. No one will come close to this level of dominance on the ground game.

Khabib is a true champ. He has his coaching videos and his opponents know what he can do. The only thing is that his opponent cant stop him.
If he can teach techniques on how to break arms, he surely knows how to avoid them...if i was khabib, i wouldn't release this any videos, until I retire :D
it's already known... person strength, calmness, smartness, enegery,... and all other factors plays a role. not bcs you know how to do it or counter it, will not guarantee you at performing it

it's crazy to watch this now. islam went from sparring partner for a video to ufc lightweight champion.
This video is like 5 6 years old when Islam was M1 fighter
khabib giving a master class: excellent but his oponents are seeing his secrets however all opponents study a lot for his movements in the videos several times!
One thing people need to realize is that those techniques won't work for everyone. Khabib is at a whole different level.
