No its not about hallucinations he says in an interview he indeed has insomnia, but he often likes to fantasize things very beyond kinda like being a creative writer, singer or artist, thats what he doe if he cant sleep at all, well cuz it makes him feel tired or bored, but at the end fantasizing things already makes him sleepy because of overthinking, but he just cant help himself he wants to think more. There thats all i have observed and analyzed on the song, as a artistic teenager who suffers from insomnia too ofc its deeply relatable.
