I found out about Blame! through this song and even though I was never interested in manga, the story and illustrations called my atention and I bought all the volumes being sure I would enjoy it. It was fantastic. A lot of times this song was playing in my head and I was coming back to it. I'm so glad you guys did a song about this masterpiece, otherwise I would've never go after it. The way the song and the visual fit perfectly is amazing. (Also, I started watching The Expanse because of Ilos, then stopped to read the books first).

Both works share similar dystopian atmospheres that evoke a haunting sense of beauty and desolation. I love how the mood of this song sends shivers down my spine, much like the feeling I get from 'Angel's Egg.'

Thank you! Yeah this song from music to lyrics was directly inspired by BLAME!, the manga was a huge influence for us both! The whole album, including the cover art, is pretty steeped in Nihei's influence even though this is the only song directly about it.
