Natural disaster recovery resources should go where they will do the most good. Race, income, etc. should not be a factor, unfortunately it frequently is. Normally this has to be a balance between types of resources available (50 guys with chainsaws can't replace an electric transformer) and what needs to be done(a couple guys can throw a breaker and restore electric service to a hundred homes. Replacing a destroyed tramsformer may restore service to several thousand homes, but it's going to take longer. There are no easy or perfect answers.
This is why Govoners Abbott went to East Asia as many say. He went to Japan, the Philippines and South Korea. He went to honor Camp David.
It is time to speak the truths better.
The South is the Cradle of Civilization for America.
This storm reminds many of us of Katrina, 2005. It was always let's discuss Haiti and 2010.
