@kashyapjyotidas2997 12k, coz I was anxious about engine oil, but when drained it out, meachanic said it's still good for 2-3k kms. However I got it changed. I will go for a periodic check up at 16k
Tail section is the only thing that is bothering me 😅 I own MY25 one. Installing Zana’s Backrest just to change tail’s look. Tail tidy not helping either.
@@vigneshkumar087 I think speed 400 > Duke 250 > Ns 400z. Fit and finish and refinement on triumph is top notch. Maintenance on bajaj< ktm< triumph. Seat height of Duke could be an issue for some ppl. always Test ride and decide !
Do you ever think of switching to saddlebags over a top box? I've been using a JB Racing Racing top box (with Triumph luggage rack) and it works good. Just thinking of vibes from there on bad roads and the looks aren't the best with a naked bike. Can't deny the practicality and utility of a top box though.
Not yet as tox box works for me because I store my helmet everyday and during rides I carry a backpack in it along with a tank bag. You can go for saddle bags if you go on long rides frequently otherwise top box is good !
@@CharithDrive yeah it's convenient for sure, and most of my long rides I manage wirh one backpack, so probably don't need saddlebags, can use bungees strapped to the pillion seat.
@@abbassayyad31 compared to speed 400..scrambler 400x is better for pillion comfort but If you don’t want split seat you have to look into other bikes. There’ are many other bikes which offer good pillion comfort like dominar, apaches and pulsar series too. You can test ride and pick. All these have good engines ! I’m not a big fan of RE except for their twin engines..so wouldn’t recommend. My choice would be either scrambler 400x or Dominar 400. Domi400 feels heavy in the city but I’m used to it.

@@abbassayyad31 H'ness is also great bike but lacks top end as compared to triumph 400s. Build quality is good but on triumphs it feels premium and both Honda/Triumph engines are so reliable, they will last for years. I think you wont regret buying any of these

I see that you've this bike for 1 year now. I bought mine 3 months back. How's the heating? Do you get used to it or it gets better as you keep riding??
@@sramnk Only in summer you will face some heating issue in peak traffic. In other conditions slight heat is expected from 400cc bike, As long as your radiator fan is kicking in..we are good to use the bike ! The amount of heat from the engine will be same even after riding it for a year..
Bro I heard from my friend that the service charge for this bike is too high? Can u clear this confusion..? I have seen 1st service videos but am still confused if triumph will quote a big chunk of money after long term usage. (Like owners of bmw g310gs have pointed out).
It's not true regarding speed 400 and scrambler 400x as these bikes are developed in collab with Bajaj. Other bikes in triumph have higher service cost and spares.
Only similarly between R3 and Speed 400 is mileage. 😂 M looking for something that can cruise at 110 with a mileage of around 35-40 kmpl for my cafe racer project. I have a few poor mens bike on me Yamaha yzf R3, RE Desert storm, A few models from Tvs. and now i thought i will buy a triumph and make it a good cafe racer. 😢 No Place for poor. 😂
@@HarshitJadaun-b8f I have owned Dominar in the past and it is more confident inspiring on highways and within city you feel the front end is heavy..speed 400 is easy manoeuver in the city and engine seems to be more refined than Domi. Always test ride and make your decision. Hope this helps !

Not seen any rusting..but the bend pipe color changes due to heat
