  • Strawberry Tiramisu Recipe
    Ingredients:
    • 400 g of strawberries + extra for garnish
    • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
    • 30-40 g of sugar
    • 500 g of heavy cream (30-33%)
    • 500 g of mascarpone cheese
    • 6 tablespoons of powdered sugar
    • 250 g of Savoiardi biscuits (Ladyfingers)
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Strawberry Purée:
    Wash and hull the strawberries. In a blender, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Blend until you get a smooth purée. Adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more sugar.
    2. Make the Cream Mixture:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and mascarpone cheese. Whisk until the mixture becomes smooth and forms stiff peaks. Make sure not to overwhip, as it can cause the cream to become grainy.
    3. Assemble the Tiramisu:
    • Start by dipping the Savoiardi biscuits briefly into the strawberry purée, making sure they absorb some of the liquid but do not become too soggy.
    • Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits in a serving dish or a baking pan.
    • Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the biscuits, smoothing it out evenly.
    • Add another layer of dipped biscuits on top of the cream.
    • Finish with the remaining mascarpone cream, spreading it smoothly over the final layer of biscuits.
    4. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the tiramisu overnight. This allows the flavors to meld and the biscuits to soften as they soak up the cream and strawberry purée.
    • Before serving, you can garnish the tiramisu with fresh strawberries for an elegant touch.
