This song is criminally underrated.
Joji has shown so much improvement since ballads 1 and in tounges, you can really hear the difference in his voice and this is probably the best song he's made imo with the vocals

honestly this is my favourite song on the album. it captures beauty in a way i cant describe, i love the flowing piano and the key switches, the vocals are chilling.

This song has a heavy atmosphere just like MODUS. I love this feeling Joji can present in his albums, it's tracks like these that reminds you that this man is needed to be protected at all costs lol he's just too good with these songs

Smithereens is his best and strongest album to date. To end it with 1AM FREESTYLE is fucking amazing. As a Joji veteran, to witness his growth as a musician is beautiful. I’m so proud of him.

I first heard this song when smithereens came out and I immediately got goosebumps from the ending. It made me shed a tear because his voice is so angelic and sounds almost godly. This man is so beautiful and his singing is a work of art.
I don't know what it is with this song, it just meshes so well with how much of a wreck I am right now. Depressed, anxious, alone. I don't wanna be alone and I'm trying to reach out but there isn't anyone.
