@austinholland8470 we're playing more first and second year players than almost anyone else, while they're making an impact. The recruits see it, and the issues are with those upper classmen, oddly enough, and they're on their way out.

I’m glad someone else see the fact that the players don’t really give their best efforts for him. You can somewhat tell they were going all out while Hank and Holden were in there earlier this year but the receivers seems to develop T-Rex arms when PT is throwing. Except KLS. I think he’s doing his best for his draft stock regardless.
Thorne has been pick by his peers two years in a row to be a team captain. He is a good leader on and off the field. But, the problem is that he has plays where he has a complete brain fart. Plus he holds the ball way too long in the pocket. He has to pull the trigger faster than he has been. Very frustrating
We really really need to get KLS his 1000 yards. That guy is going all out to be honest. It does seem Cam has kind of taken his foot off the gas a bit, and it could be that he’s still playing hurt with that shoulder. But KLS is giving all he’s got.
I think next year will be our upside. Second year under HF calling plays so our guys will know playbook better. We have some dudes on that field as freshman and we’re fixing to get some more. But right now we have got to get better at coaching and game day decisions.

I’ve never questioned his toughness. I’ve always questioned his football IQ, mental speed, and general ability. He would make an excellent backup QB at most other schools. He’s just not a primary QB in the SEC or a top school in the ACC and Big 10.
Payton is more than physically tough, he's mentally tough too. For him to keep going after absorbing so much hatred and criticism and just plain old mean-spirited crap, is damn near amazing. He may not be an elite QB, but he is an elite young man. He has my respect. War Eagle!
