it’s interesting, the mirror to mirror version of this sounds like the soundtrack to an awkward teenage high school dance, the face to face studio and live performances sound like a mosh pit in an indie rock show, and this one sounds more like a dance party in a club!
got to see their last show on this tour and i'll listen to bodies and be like teary eyed because dancing in the crowd to that was some of the most fun i've had in the last two years in a way where i actually loosened up. like i hold a lot of tension physically form trauma and was actually able to let go of it for a bit.

Hey! Car Seat’s sound person here, yes he is wearing a Crown CM311 headset mic inside his mask. Headset mics are generally known to sound like ass but this one sounds great. Fun fact it’s the same one Britney Spears uses! Also the mask is actually a plastic frame covered by acoustically transparent material. We put a lot of thought into how to make Will’s idea work artistically as well as sonically. I think it worked out great!

I went to one of their other shows and his singing sounds a little different in it. Yeah it’s the same songs (mostly) but the inflections and stuff , I don’t know how to describe it just that each time they sing his voice sounds different. Or he does different things with his voice. I wonder if he’s taken singing lessons or something because his voice seems a lot more clear and less forced than it used to , which I personally like a lot! And on that note , I am always impressed that Will can bounce and run around and still sing beautifully and perfectly! Like he must be incredibly fit to do that lol I see why you’d think that he was singing a long to a track, which is not a bad thing really :)

Being that close up in the crowd was pretty insane. You can feel every drum hit in your soul
General admission is always better, especially the mosh pit.
