There’s nothing wrong with M&S, they have many good-quality classics, that’s all I need. They also carry plenty of designer and trendier items, I think they have something for everyone. I just we wish could enjoy their full selection here in the US. We do have a US site for them, but the offerings are so limited that I never was able to get an item of theirs linked by a UK influencer. Like all non-US links, they’re lost when the site requires us to change our country. I find if I shop carefully in M&S you can pick up items that you'd never guess were from there, and can look quite expensive. I particularly gravitate towards Autograph and Jaeger, but their 'M&S Collection' also yields interesting things. The only gripe I have with M&S is their cashmere - the colours are just slightly 'off', too pastel or too starkly bright. I feel they suit more winter or spring-toned ladies, rather than soft muted autumnal types like me.
Lovely memories shopping at M&S in the 90s with my English Gran who was a seamstress, she always said a well-made blouse could elevate any outfit! 😊 She also wore gloves, hangbag & matching heels well into her 80s ❤
Good to see you doing m+s, my favourite, I've had a shirt from marks some years ago with these invisible extra buttons, wear it every summer, good old marks, I'd be lost without them there.
With that striped jumper with the long cuffs, you could just do a very easy invisible tack stitch to hold them up. That would look lovely, and if you ever wanted to sell or donate it, tack stitches are very easy to remove.
I like the watch with the brown strap, it gives it a more relaxed look. I love M&S, I remember the first time I went into a M&S store, I was very impressed with all of the clothes. My UK friends laughed at me that I like it as much as I did.
M&S is the store I recently shopped online from the US! I loved most of what I ordered. The knit short sleeve and sleeveless sweaters were all beautifully made, and so comfortable. The pants were all too big as well as the dresses. It was because of oversizing and also the sizing just didn’t translate right to US sizes. Overall I was very happy with most of what I ordered and kept it. Thank you for this video if I hadn’t shopped there recently, I would have after seeing this. Blessing all.

There's a reason M&S has been around for so long - frumpy or not, there are loads of very classic pieces to be found, and in my experience, the quality is usually very good. The first place I go when I'm back home in London to stock up on bras and knickers!
Those are some fab finds at M&S. Excellent prices as well. I was surprised that I liked the pink trench, since I usually run from pinks and other pastels. LOL. It looked quite subtle and it paired gorgeously with the gray trousers and with the jeans. The dark jeans paired with the white shirt or the striped shirt and blazer were absolute 🔥!

That orange and black outfit looks so chic on you! I like the 5 link gold watch band. I initially liked the gold mesh, but when looking at all of them together, the 5 link gave more balance to all the jewelry and bag - can't go wrong either way!!

Hi Gemma thanks for doing M & S just to let you know M&S have been doing that hidden button on there shirts for some years now I wear them to work sleeveless, short sleeved and long sleeve just stops that gapping I love them. There jeans are also very good fit now, they have up there game. love you bags and watch very elegant look.

M&S have improved recently. Their large stores have a reasonable choice nowsdays. Don't like black with bright colours it's too harsh. Navy looks better. It's good to see M&S doing other makes such as ghost.
I love M&S. I particularly like 'The Edit'. And a lot of the prices are so reasonable. The oversized girlfriend shirts are about £25 for instance and a similar shirt at Cos, Arket, Massimo Dutti or Other Stories would be in the region of £55. I love their wide leg trousers and the fact that they do different trouser lengths as I need the long length. Yes they do some frumpy stuff, but you can't go wrong with their basics, cotton shirts, linen shirts etc. Although they do do an awful lot of polyester. I've also found that it's worth looking in the mens' department. This year I bought my white cotton crew necks from the mens. £8 each or 3 for £22 which was cheaper than the ladies at £8.50 each and for me the fit was better.

There were lots of nice outfits here. Loved all of the skirts, they look quite chic, and the gold strap, the 5 link, a little chunkier to offset the very feminine skirt. I wish we had an M&S in Vancouvr, but when they were here 30 years ago, the stuff was hideous and frumpy ( quilted nylon satin house coats..ugh!)😅
The problem with M&S is the sizing. As I live in Europe and no longer have access to a shop I’ve stopped buying there as the sizes are just hit and miss.

I love Marks and Sparks. Apart from their chinos made in Bangladesh, their clothes are reasonably priced and good quality and nowadays quite stylish if you stay away from the flowing flowery numbers and the excessive polyester. I have bought lots of things on line but the sleeves are always too long for me, sort of gorilla length.

The second watch, gold mesh, looks best with the orange shirt IMHO. The black also works if you want to dress it up a bit.
