Hello and thank you for contacting us at Infotainment.com, yes we do offer a universal license plate camera that will be compatible with your vehicle and will include an OBD genie for programming purposes. You will just need to install our camera interface harness into your HMI module and route your wiring as desired. Unfortunately we do not have an installation video for that, but we do have an installation guide that you can easily reference.
I have impala 2018LTZ but My car does not support onstar and I would like to add it to my vehicle but what do I need? I only bought the roof control buttons
Hello this particular package is an onboard navigation upgrade with the option to also include apple carplay/android auto. This would not gain you any kind of onstar functionality.
OnStar has told me my 2014 Impala IO5 unit will stop working next month because it is a 2G unit. Will this replacement allow my OnStar to continue to function?

With every video I view on this Impala and all it's upgrade I'm beginning to hesitate on purchasing a used 2016 ls fleet. Toooo much work and tooooo much extra expenses. Seriously all these used cars are more of a hassle in the long run to upgrade and a money pit!!!! I'm really getting frustrated and annoying at seeing how much I would spend upgrading most used vehicles stereo systems and other parts. And the crazy thing is that all of these vehicles are 2016 and up. Theses multi billion dollar companies really put out poorly made products and still ask for more money when upgrading or maintaining these current gen vehicles. I think I'm going to just wait until the summer and save up another 6 to 8 grand and just purchase a vehicle that has everything I want from the jump.
Car manufacturers began making more of an effort to look out for the dealerships. Part of that taking care of dealerships includes providing service center hours. Things that were once simple driveway repairs, like changing an alternator, require dropping the engine. It's crazy. With the radio, there's also been a transition. The radio is now really a computer, so it's become more involved due to the need to make sure it still functions with the rest of the vehicle's network. Don't even get started on EVs. There's almost nothing you can repair on those by yourself.
Best thing to do is use cellphone for GPS due t the high price tag for this basic function.
Except you don't get Apple CarPlay/Android, XM Satellite or Siri compatibility. Lot's more than just GPS comes with this radio.
I have a 2015 impala , no nav or apple car play. I can just buy this plug and play and it’ll start working ?

There's no such thing as a Chevy Caprice in 2015. They stopped making those years ago

As nice as it would be, I can't imagine paying that much as long as my Garmin GPS has lifetime updates and can go from my Impala to my Silverado.
Nothing beats updated maps daily from Google and Apple.
Please for Tahoe ls can you

If this video was released nine years ago in 2015 how did they know that the Impala was going to be discontinued in 2020?
