The back does go flat - there’s a pulley/tag near the floor under each seat which lowers the seats to go completely flat.
It’s tricky to figure out but once you do it a few times it’s easy

Well it would be if they were aware that the second row does drop to provide a flat load bay.
Would put me off buying as clearly shows have never dealt with discos before.
