Nice filming 🙂 I've been looking at Pride videos from 2024, including for example Brussels and Dusseldorf and I can't help coming to the conclusion that these events seem very tame and restrianed compared to the one we get in Maspalomas every May and November. Also the UK Prides appears to be more of a protest where ours is definitely a celebration of freedom and diversity. Do you know about the Maspalomas Pride and have you ever filmed there? Are there other Prides similar to it?
Uk is very religiously diverse now and some people might not agree with this way of living and it's there right, but the protest should be peaceful and non provoking to other's believe especially on there festive day! I watched the rest of the video now, what were those wrist bands and security checks for? The Maspalomas pride is twice a year, May and November running for one week each time. It has a different sort of vibe to it from what I've seen looking at the UK and other events. There were 80K partygoers at the last one. Check it out I think you would like it.
I’ve been to pride in Gran Canaria , it’s completely different, as you can see we have lots of people who don’t like the LGBT + community here in the uk , hate crime is getting worse, attacks are getting more common, , religion or one type of religion, is taking over the uk and Europe, and sadly they hate non straight people,but in Gran Canaria , love is love , pride flags everywhere, every business is welcoming and it’s a party of acceptance and tolerance, ❤
@@jameshollyoak8230 I wouldn’t say that’s completely true, especially Birmingham pride…. The parade is a celebration and you will see flags, banners all over the city centre with many “straight” venues now joining in on the fun over the whole week… after this parade the gay village and live music area with different stages, dance tents, fun fair etc is massive and goes on till 6/7am both days… this year saw 80,000 people enjoy Birmingham Pride…. 🥳🌈💃🏻🕺🏾🍹
@@jameshollyoak8230 I don’t think so mate, don’t know you got that information from but that’s just a exaggeration and I have hardly seen any religious fundamentals becoming popular or even rising here in the Uk it’s quite rare. Yes there are hate preachers as they always have been but you must be thinking of another country. Here whether it’s in london, birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol are all gay friendly and accepting. If anything religion is declining faster here than ever so it ain’t growing at all and most brits don’t care about religion anyway.
