I have been working in ICU as idccm student post Anesthesia pg. Though my intensivist enjoy work life balance its very stressful and primary consultant have all importance than icu team. Relatives are least interested in icu team they are just concerned what primary consultant tells them. So without dignity with such stressed work intensivist post is no more desirable. Nor our intensivist have freedom of decision making except life saving events. So primary consultant is boss rest all icu team are his servant. So being anesthesian i advice my juniors so keep away from critical care medicine as it's ruled by internal medicine people.
Solution is to select pg subject as per liking, budget & good medical institute than money saving approach. I mean even private deemed University have good patient load hands on than small peripheral govt medical colleges. Diginity, Money, freedom as per speciality all matters.
Sir currently I am doing Diploma anesthesiology kn a good govt hospital.should I join govt sector or upskill myself and then join some corporate hospital in order to earn a good salary( in my case its arround 2-2.5 lakh/m) .. Plz reply sir
Sir very few videos about radiology & intervention radiology, pls make a video only about this branch , income , ground reality , how they replace surgeons pros cons etc... pls sir
