Great interview. It was so nice to see a married couple who never interrupted each other, smiled and laughed easily, and enjoyed time together and apart. A strong marriage. And of course, Panama sounds very interesting.
Glad you guys decided to live in Panama. I know CR is also nice and I love CR as well. Thank you so much for your overview and sharing your experience. I like your approach, sleep all you want or do the things you like whenever, you are retired; and never say never!
Yet another great video by Jackie Lang & Co ! Great interview with Bob & Linda! We have visited several places in Panama and have recently gotten our permanent resident Visas now . We visited El Valle de Anton & Coronado the first week in December '22 and truly loved it there in both locations. We could easily see ourselves at either place. I think it is great advice to just rent instead of buying just in case anything comes up that you might need to return back to your home country for any reason.. Linda's advice about "chill" is excellent advice as well. Just don't get too excited about things and just relax and go with the flow.......It'll add years to your life to eliminate the stress as well! 😊👍
Sounds great!! In my 13th year here following 16 in CR...Wonderful spot you've found. I have a membership at the various clubs here including Los Olas Resort. Love it. Take Care to all you pickleball players
Wonderful video...best advice ever...(just chill) breath and be happy. The world is special enough. So happy for you. I think we may do like you. Start in Boquete and then try the beach.
the name 'Truckee' came from a 'Paiute Native' guide , who would greet the new Settlers by saying "Tru-kay" , meaning "everything is going to be all right" , in other words , "Chill" = Tranquilo .
Hello Panama Relocation Tours! You of course focus on American expats. I always hear them talk about Medicare and health insurance. But I wonder, is there a video already or could Jackie speak about health insurance when somebody relocates from Europe? How would that work? It's probably not as easy to fly back to Europe if you had a medical emergency. Would the European Health card suffice? Or how would things then work? Should I take out private insurance in Panama instead? I'm unsure, it would be really interesting to know.
It gets very hot and humid anywhere at sea level in Panama. Just put Guarumal, Panama into WeatherBug. It's also a black-sand beach which absorbs rather than reflects heat. Playa La Barqueta is bearable in the early to mid-morning, then again late in the afternoons. It's beat-down hot at other times. Having said that, it is a very nice beach. In past years, we've stayed in the same condos the couple are in and a couple of the single family homes in the Villa side.
I love hearing about the local areas! Thank you

I love you two,
What is the contact information for the meal preps? Thank you

Rents in La Barqueta run from $795 to $1600 per month.

Good video I am Canadian like to move to Panama you know any place I can recommend to rent 2bed room home or condo
Do you have to own a car is there a bus system????
La Barqueta is a small community. There are taxis to get you to David where there is a public bus system
Cute couple!
affordable to retire and availability rentals and do we need a vehicle?
@@rjh2772 many Panamanians rely exclusively on public buses for transportation.
Nice!
Thanks!Glad you enjoyed the video

@@PanamaRelocationTours Thank you so much! Now I can be clear on this important topic 😃
Is there much of a community for older, single people?
There are not a lot of people at La Barqueta but in nearby David there is a much larger population.
What is the Obalado discount?
Jubilado discount (or Pensionado discount) is available to Panamanian seniors or foreigner seniors that have a residency Visa
Can one su rvive there without a car
Would a single retired female fit into this community and is there a beach nearby that is calm enough for swimming?
La Barqueta is not a good swimming beach. There are really bad rip tides. San Carlos or Bocas del Toro would be better for swimming.
Thank you! I will look into San Carlos. I think Bocus will be more of a vacation place for me rather than full time living.
She never said what the cost of living is, beyond electricity.
Cost of living depends on where you live and how you live Here are some guidelines -- panamarelocationtours.com/realistic-cost-of-living-in-panama
Don’t forget the chickens in the road 😂
ohhh yeaa. They go where they want to go when they want to.
Thanks so much for sharing.

@@brian1988 thanks for sharing that info.
Your script is really bad. The ONLY cost she mentioned was electricity.
There is NO SCRIPT. We ask questions. They share what information they are willing to share. Not everyone wants all their info on youtube
