Absolutely the best trip for me are unplanned road trips ,bringing back memories for me my husband and I use to take these trips Memphis, key west,, St .francisville La all over Lovd watching ya all have a great time and be safe 😄👍❤

Oh MY GOODNESS!! Now I am like totally freaking out! You drove the golf cart right by our car!! We pulled over to get a picture but did not want to wait in line, so we zoomed in for a shot! 13:08 the Ford Taurus silver car is my son and I from Knoxville!! I am so amazed because I watched the whole video thinking how unlikely it would be to see us in the background! And there we were! Lol, we had to wait for that golf cart to go by to get our pic! And later in the video when you show the line, the lady in the neon orange shirt is in my picture too! Awesome!

Go to Captain Tony's Saloon - the tree inside is where they used to hang pirates from. Also, out in front of the place stand at the edge of the street with your back to the grouper, and throw a quarter over your shoulder and try to get it into the grouper's mouth - it's very good luck! Then go \see Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum - it's INCREDIBLE. I used to live in Key West...

Make sure you eat some conch fritters - they are the comfort food of the islands. Siboney Cuban restaurant is awesome- try their palomilla with black beans and white rice and maduros. Have an iron beer or materva or coco rico soda...
Looks like the two of you had a fun packed day. I enjoyed seeing you on the golf cart. That reminds me of a vacation we took to Put N Bay and drove a golf cart around the island. That was so much fun! I loved the view of the ocean when you went by on the golf cart. So glad the weather has been so awesome for you and crowds not too bad. It would probably be very crowded if the cruises were running and made the usual stop there.

If you do a LIvE on you tube and there is some background music playing from a bar or restaurant as you pass by filming.....does you tube give you a problem about that? Your not feeding them, your just a sloppy eater and it’s not illegal to drop crumbs everywhere, you can’t help that bears, and mermaids, and crabs, and roosters run up and eat what you dropped! If joe Lieden can beat the system then so can I!!
Looks like y'all had a great time at the "southernmost point" marker. When I went to Key West in the 80's I went there also. Not sure I would go back (and probably wouldn't wait in a line) now. It turns out this marker is a bit of a lie. It was originally signed as the southernmost point in the city limits of the southernmost city in the 48 states. That was true. Then they shortened the wording up. There is another point accessible to the public (the beach area of Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park) that is 500 feet further south. Another point in Key West is even further south, but it's part of a military base and not accessible. And Key West is not the furthest south island. In spite of its name, Key West is not the most western island of Florida. A set of very small islands stretch even further, ending in the Dry Tortugas about another 70 miles further west. One of them (Ballast Key,) has the actual southernmost point in the 48 states. It was privately owned until a couple of years ago when the owner donated it to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. They are planning on renaming it to "David Wolkowsky Key" in honor of him. It is trespassing to visit the island, although the Refuge may (or may not) open it to visitation in the future. Of course the southernmost point in the US 50 states is in Hawaii, and American Samoa is actually below the equator. One final item, the "90 miles" from Key West to Cuba is inaccurate, it's 94 nautical miles or 103 regular miles. This is one of those not-quite-accurate things that has been repeated endlessly for some odd reason. Hope you found all this interesting. Glad you had a good time in the Keys, they are really beautiful.

Conch fritters are such a delicacy. Can't get those here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
