      Landshark Fishing I don't think people are up to date on the FWC laws regarding dispatching exotic invasive species, including snakeheads, when caught. SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T THINK IT'S ILLEGAL. I watch your videos and you did a great job informing people, by talking with that FWC officer, about how it's illegal to release them. They are fun to catch and taste great too! We should be eating them

  • @BuBBz
    @BuBBz 7 лет назад

    around here in Ny we call them bow fins and snakeheads. That was a nice one.. Ive caught many like it even broke my reel on one.. Was good times. The population is so high we "bowFish" for them I shot the biggest one me and my father have ever saw. It was pulling our 14 foot flat bottom around. It was easily over 4 feet. But watching your videos really makes me want to buy a go pro and start videoing my fishing! Specially bowfins!

    • @buckdeer44
      @buckdeer44 7 лет назад

      Bow fin totally different than snake head...

    • @BuBBz
      @BuBBz 7 лет назад

      Totally different huh?.. Must Be Bowfin get much bigger. I also see the eye on this ones tale same as this one. Both have a long fin to the tail. Both have a snake like head... Not much difference but the name.

    • @williamgarrabrant4525
      @williamgarrabrant4525 7 лет назад

      Bowfin
      No scales on head
      Bony plates between lower jaw bones
      Pelvic fins at mid-body
      Anal fin short
      Eyespot (Ocellus) at base of tail, in male fish only
      Snakehead
      Enlarged scales on head
      No bony plates between lower jaw bones
      Pelvic fins closer to head
      Anal fin long, almost as long as dorsal fin
      Eyespot present in some species
      Pretty different if you ask me.
