Hi again Nick , just heard from another drone flyer that the camera platforms are just to enable the club to show what view you’ll get from your season ticket choice .other platforms are now being installed along other stands
I think it's a mixture. The one at the centre-back of the South Stand is where the approved plans showed one to be, whereas the lower corner ones are not where the plans showed them to be. I'd certainly agree that it's a likely plan for cameras to pan across from those positions so that CGI can interpret and reproduce 3D views for whatever reason, such as Season Ticket Choice.
Hey Nick. Looks like they are using the same colour tarmac/concrete for the roadway under the North stand as they have done near the media centre. I assume this will be done like that to help the buses navigate around and for parking on match days.
Hi Nick I love the stadium and it will be sad to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season but it will be great to move and watch Everton play at the Bramley Moore Dock next season. Not only to watch football. I think it would be nice to watch NFL, men's rugby, women play football and rugby play at the new stadium. Keep up the good work.
Much more likely to get rugby games than NFL. Spurs stadium was custom built to include changing rooms that fit their 53 man squads in. When Wembley host NFL each team gets 2 football chasing rooms with the warmup room in between for each squad. Even when the walls are removed they still complain about lack of space. The sight line of the touchline also means that the first 6 rows would be removed from sale and covered up as you can’t see past the squad of players on each touchline. Sight lines aren’t impacted at spurs as the pitch roles out with means they play on a pitch 2 metres below the first row of seats
@andrewlindsay9846 yeah it's a good point. I was only saying that it would be great for NFL. Definitely be great for rugby both men and women. Everton women will definitely play at the new Everton stadium.
Hi nick ya you were right on top of it where the yellow truck was think it would look really good right the way along and would tie in with the whole dock theme
The rock wall was done ages ago- can't believe you're not aware. Unlikely to be done all the way along as Peel own it. New fencing now going up to mask the sea wall.
Hi Nick. Great videos. The excitement is certainly building as we get closer to stadium completion. In terms of the personalised bricks on Everton Way behind the South Stand do you know if they have been installed yet? Thanks Mark
That will be done after December by a different firm. I wouldn't be surprised if they waited until spring to be honest rather than laying them in low temperatures.
#44: No, the stones have not been laid yet. It's a task for EFC Sub-contractors in the customisation phase after LoR have completed. It's why there is a huge area of the South Concourse that has not yet got a hard surface laid.
Does anyone know why they have made the fencing that separates the north boundary & the water treatment plan a transparent mesh? Why would we want to see through it at all? Id rather we build massive 20 foot high fencing with images of our history similar to the exterior of Goodison Park currently.
J: yes, I'd agree. In the proposals in the plans, it suggested that they were going to install fencing, and the wind-baffle panels, that had imagery incorporated. It'd be an expensive process, I think as it would require controlled cutting and etching of a stable metal material. If they end up applying banners, I guess the advantage is that it would be cheaper to keep changing them according to circumstances but then they could apply banners in front of the imaged fence panels anyway for the best of both worlds. It does eem like an opportunity missed.
Hi Nick, another great and informative video. This is not a criticism but I wonder why they chose such a light, new looking brick for the stadium build rather than a darker one to match the surrounding dock buildings like the Tobacco warehouse, Titanic Hotel and the Pumphouse. If they were trying to emulate these then surely a darker colour would have more effect?
They did lots of testing at the outset on the weathering of the bricks due to English heritage and the UNESCO status. I’m sure this has been taken into account and once weathered will loose the ‘new’ look.
Hi Nick brilliant vid as always,me and my sons went up to BMD in November 2022, the first roof truss went up the day after we had to get back to Kent, what a transformation what a stadium been watching your vids since day 1, one question the blue plinth on the fans plaza has a gap on the front of it, could it be for a certain Mr Dixie Dean ? Just saying from T/W Kent. C.O.Y.B
It's a fair question. I can't confirm or deny what the intentions are. There weren't statues indicated for placing on the front section of the two-tiered blue-glazed benches in the approved plans but it was indicated there'd be some forms of EFC branding or memorabilia. Having said that, there were articles in 2020 that suggested that some form of statues-with-incorporated-benches would be installed on site (type into your browser "Proposed statue designs at Bramley Moore Dock Stadium, Liverpool Echo") I think we probably have to wait and see what happens in the EFC Customisation phase.
Why haven’t they got heat lamps on after the seeding? Surely they need to encourage the natural growth of the grass otherwise we’ll be left having to do it again which I’d imagine would be difficult if sis have done their bit.
From Ped7 of X regarding the platforms in the South stand “They are testing the temporary camera positions. If required by broadcaster, the seats come out, and the camera position goes in.”
@@ToffeeTVEFC Thanks Ped. So, if the broadcaster requires the temporary cameras, what happens to the fans with tickets for those seats? Does it not matter because everyone will be standing anyway? Or will the club simply not sell those tickets? I presume those seats won’t be season tickets then.

Does anyone know if the wall on the south stand, separating the lower and upper sections is going to be painted blue? I’m sure I’ve seen this on digital images, and think it would look great to help with creating the illusion of the single tiered stand they were going for. The white wall as is, makes it look more like a regular 2 tier stand.
Hi Nick just subscribed to the channel I’m a West Ham United fan you great job on keeping updated on the progression of the stadium. Two questions. Where would the away fans be placed in the stadium and second question at West Ham they have a Champions Place walkway of personalised engraved granite stones set in the ground around dedications to the club's greatest legends would Everton do that to honour the club legends alongside the fans of the club?
Hay Jamie, thanks for the message and the follow.Away fans are in the north east corner. That’s the front right corner as we face the stadium at the beginning of the video. We will have personalised stones under the south stand (left stand looking at it from the front). These stones were purchased by fans and we could write notes on them.
Jamie: Re the stones, the early-doors imagery showed that "The Everton Way" (on the South Concourse) will have "EVERTON" spelled out and in between the lettering there will be large Legends' Stones and the individual personailsed memorial stones in between those. There may also be statues incorporated with benches along the south perimeter overlooking Nelson Dock, between the large wind-baffles. Having stated all that, the detailed plans will have changed frequently due to the initial over-subscription and there have been 3 periods of subscription with extra room created for all the stones.
16:00 Hi Nick , great videos as always . Just a question about the back of the North Stand , is there more space , than how it looks on screen for when fans are all leaving following the match , there doesn't look alot of room for a full stand spilling out and everyone having to walk the same way . In reality there maybe alot of space , but it looks a bit tight with the businesses just behind.
Not an issue. The only turnstiles outside the north stand are in the north east corner and are for the away fans. All the home fans who will sit in the north and west stands will exit via the tunnel under the mezzanine and will leave via Everton Way (under the south stand)
The Away fans will enter and leave on the North side of the Stadium, up near the front (East side). I'm pretty sure that Our fans will enter under the West Tunnel (North West) and will then need to walk to escalators to enter the North Stand.
Steve: the Away Fans are the only ones that will need to use any of the access under the overhang of the North Stand but only the short stretch to Gate 24 at the NNE corner and will certainly vacate along the roadway to the NE corner Tower Gate. Home GA Fans who have seats in the Lower Tier of the North Stand will use Gates 22 and 23 at the ENE corner of the stadium. Home GA fans who have seats in the Upper Tier of the North Stand will use either gates at the ENE as described or in the main, Gates 1 and 2 over at the WNW corner under the Mezzanine. They will go to and from those gates using the South and West Concourses. Security and Stewards will not be allowing any Home Fans to be walking along the North Concourse.
No sign of anything yet be interesting to see who the developer may sell to shouldn't think they will have annmy issues.Alot of site clearance and set up required , so hopefully should be quite obvious when anything commences.
It should be finished in the same Composite Decking material as the main area of the Lower Promenade. There will be a Capping Beam along the front vertical edging too. Exactly what method they will use for the contractors to access that side of the balustrade remains to be seen.
Nick, the gabion wall at the NW corner of the Mersey Wall has been there since the build started. It is Peel Group's property. EFC installed concrete base walls at their BMD perimeter, which look a bit like those you see as crash barriers on motorways a long while back too. They applied metal mountings to the concrete bases a few months ago and they've added white panels to those to hide the ugly Mersey Wall.
@@alanrichards5659 Alan: as there are no smiling emoji's, I presume you're being serious. "Ugly" is an opinion. "History" is supposed to be factual but sometimes mythical. Type "Ugly Structures" into your browser and you'll see lots of examples where functionality and beauty are also questioned. The fact that they have gone to some lengths to hide it suggest that I am not alone in my opinion of the Wall being an eyesore in contect. 🙂
Hi Nick, why is the seeding so far from the seating, Is this how far the pitch will be? Thought the seats were supposed to be ontop of the pitch. Feel like there’s a lot of space wasted where we could have more seats
Needs to min 7.5m space from front row to goal line preferably 10m to meet uefa euro 2028 standards. Won't be as close as Goodison. Min 6m (pref 8.5m) on sides.
Jonathan: Peter, who works with SIS, states that there will be a separate small electric stitcher that will do along the edges of the pitch area, as this diesel-powered double-ended stitcher is not quite manoeuvrable enough at the edges and corners. The seats are as close as they can get legally.
It's so international games can be hosted at the stadium. There has to be a minimum distance from the fans to the pitch. The fans are further away tha. Places like Goodison, Anfield, Stamford Bridge etc. All the new builds are set back for the reason I said above. I think Everton fans got mislead when they were told the fans will be right on top of the pitch.
@@rosse6705 Rosse, apologies for a moment of pedancy and disagreement but I don't think it's right to claim any misleading. Like any member of the public, fans have a habit of misinterpreting the written word or leaning towards their own bias. I think you'll find the brief was to make sure that the seating was as close as possible to the pitch. Some will think that means literally to the pitch-side but in reality all it means is as close as it can be legally. That is still as good as it can get. The angle of rake is also maximised to create the closed-in intimidatory effect. So, they have created the maximum 'closeness' that is allowed. That is not misleading but a point to be applauded.
Nick, is the yellow tarmac under the north stand permanent. It feels such a shame that the rest of the land round the stadium has slabs laid yet they have chosen to do this.
Yeah that's the final layer. Looks a bit shit like doesn't it. Especially a yellow & grey car park behind the west stand. Not sure why they've went for that look.
Another great video, Nick, I've watched your videos from day one, mate. The stadium is looking fantastic, i can't wait for us to move now. Quick question mate, will the black cable tray that runs from the easten roof hatch to the solar panels be having a cover fitted to match the rest of the roof?I hope so because it really stands out and is driving my OCD up the wall! Lol! Only messing, but it does kind of spoil the flow of the roof. Cheers Nick.
Good Q. Open-topped conduit seems at the moment to be the way (as it is also along the concrete rooves of all the stands) but then they could surprise us later.
All them platforms won't be staying, They are temporary so they can get cameras in there to take all the images for the software which allows season ticket holders to pick their seats on the website.
@@rosse6705 Hi Rosse. ToffeesRUs have learned from EFC that they are both permanent and temporary. The seats affected will not be season-ticket holders' seats and IF the Broadcasters want the extra camera positons for any matches the seats will be removed on those occasions and the seats not sold, of course. In the short-term they may well be setting them up to do as you say but it will be an occasional feature in the future on a permanent basis, if you get that permanent-temporary process. They are not quite in the lcoations set in the approved plans, although the one in the centre-back of the South Stand Lower Tier is exactly where it was planned.

Ugly??? Obviously you don’t know your history of Liverpool docks
@alanrichards5659 Eye of the beholder and all that but ugly is a fair description for that stretch of sea wall. 😄
@@JayEFC1969 it’s not a sea wall
@@alanrichards5659 Alan: as there are no smiling emoji's, I presume you're being serious. "Ugly" is an opinion. "History" is supposed to be factual but sometimes mythical. Type "Ugly Structures" into your browser and you'll see lots of examples where functionality and beauty are also questioned. The fact that they have gone to some lengths to hide it suggest that I am not alone in my opinion of the Wall being an eyesore in contect. 🙂
What are the plans for displaying the stadium name once it's finally agreed?
Hi Nick, why is the seeding so far from the seating, Is this how far the pitch will be? Thought the seats were supposed to be ontop of the pitch. Feel like there’s a lot of space wasted where we could have more seats
The synthetic fibre will definitely be stitched into the pitch they’ve currently left in front of the south and north stands
@ seems a bit bizarre. Maybe even if they had just tarmaced under the stand it and had the brick work up to that point it was hidden a bit more.
@@MatthewChamberlain-e2u Black Tarmac might not look the best either but it's definitely better than yellow haha.
Alright mate, Do you know if there will be blue lights on north stand like there is on south stand
Did you watch the video? 😂
@@matthewthompson82 Nick covered this on the video if you were watching Matthew
@@Guesswho-qk2kv think there should be blue lights on the north stand for cruise/ferry ships to see on approaching.
Changing frequency alternates wavelength. That’s what actually changes the colour of the lights. Sorry for the boring information
What about the CRUISE SHIPS VISITING LIVERPOOL? AN ILLUMINATED BLUE NORTHEND WOULD WELCOME THEM GOOD STYLE
@@Noseypoke-mr7th They'll still be able to see all the West stand lit up even when they are coming into the Mersey.
They'll see the lights on the barrel-cladding at the NW end and all the lights on the West Concourse.
But then again rather the light grey than dark blue
The Astro turf area is just a training zone for the apprenticeships
😆. I don't know that any in the EFC playing staff, other than maybe Ily, have that degree of close-control.
@ 😂
Everton being Everton having a camera platform in the middle of the fans
Wear is the box office
The ticket office is the first area on the South Promenade just before the Everton Way.
The ticket office is in the south east corner of the stadium
I really hope they don't keep them platforms in the south stand that would ruin it
Not much blue so far part from the seats
Greetings from Thailand, I couldn't help noticing that the shit show that is the water companies facility has been overlooked yet UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE didn't give a f^^k about that.
UNESCO and Historic England objected, but the council realised the city’s 💩 had to be treated somewhere
If I'm not mistaken UU had to meet similar restrictions around returning Wellington Dock to its original state if its current use ever came to an end.
@@JayEFC1969 And so did Everton but it did not stop UNESCO from dropping our City. BTW this decision was made by a committee sitting in China without ever visiting the city.
