My name is Sarah, I was just at a theater camp where I stated multiple times that I was the oldest one there and told everyone that they should do the stupid warm up choreography. So I guess this is me
Me at camp during introduction: *Anxiety* I will wait so that I am the last person to introduce myself so I can analyze how other campers introduce themselves and if they have a sort of pattern so I can know exactly what to say because if I don’t, I will panic and stutter my way through the entire thing. (I do not have a stutter, but I do have anxiety and will stutter when I am nervous or about to panic which makes me more nervous because I think it makes me sound stupid.)
Once had this random European kid and they said ‘I should be spending my summer with my siblings and cousins jet skiing and parting the in the south of France at our holiday homes but instead my parents sent me to this summer camp in the USA as punishment because I won’t cut back on my drinking and drugs’.
This makes me afraid that I’m like this.. I was a camper at a horse camp for 9 years but now I work in the barn and take care of the horses. This year a lot of kids who were campers when I was a camper are back and I’m an authority figure and I’m so afraid that I’ll come off as a know it all even though im just trying to keep them safe, you know?
I literally got back from camp last night and the same thing happened to me this girl Morgan was introducing herself and she had been at camp for seven years
