I think Curry has a chance to be the best PG in the league by the end of this season. Paul's playmaking ability is still unmatched but Curry is gradually catching up with his passing.
from a neutral, Curry is the best PG in the league right now. I've been saying CP for the past few years, but I haven't seen any progression in his game, nor progression in the Clippers. With Durant injured and LeBron finding his way at the Cavs, this guy could be in serious MVP talks

And... What an average coach can do to a team? Mark Jackson was so ridiculously bad that even a rookie like Kerr can make him look silly in just one month at the job. The Warriors wasted two years of contention because of a pathetic priest... Seeing elite talent being wasted just pissed me off!
Out of curiosity, maybe because I don't understand basketball at that depth, how can you tell when the coach is at fault. Warriors didn't do bad last season, the record was good they made it in the playoffs but how can you tell the coach was what was holding them back from doing further in the playoffs?
Also the defense is better and the role players elevated their games. This is a direct coaching impact. And dont think that Kerr is "elite", he is just an average guy with a solid system. Jackson didn't even have a system to begin with. The Warriors potentially had an allstar starting 5. Curry is a elite player, a superstar, plus 4 other guys with allstar potential. Only Bogut is the lesser player, and still he is one of the best big man defenders in the game today. This team is built to win 60+ games per season, Jackson was just holding them back. I hope he never returns to coaching again. And the same could be said about Scott Brooks, another terrible coach wasting elite talent.

Of course, he is finally getting a shot to guard PG's and he has looked pretty good. Without Durant, its assumed that Lebron will run away with MVP but I think a guy like Curry will earn real discussion this season
Rose scores more than Rondo but I put Rondo ahead of him because of his all-around play. Any PG who can give you 11 pts 11asts 5-7 rebounds and 2 stls a game EVERY game will always trump point guards who are mainly scorers first.
