Thank you Sheridan. Loved this video. This was the best video I've seen on deep cleaning apqs machines. While I didn't have an old comb, I used my bottle brush to clean out the brush areas and found oh so many dust bunnies way inside! Obviously I had not done this before. This video was so helpful.
Very concise video Sheridan. Your camera angle was especially good to see precisely what your instruction demonstrated. I also change my needle and oil the wicks while I am doing this maintenance
This was a fantastic video. I have watched it twice so far to make sure I do the steps in order. I sent a previous message but it didn't show up for some reason. I hope this one will show. Can someone please show me where the stitch regulator and the speed are located on Lucey so I can do the deep clean maintenance? thank you so much!
Very well done video! May I suggest you either provide this link or a copy of the video on thumb drive to all future owners. We all get your great training at the time of purchase, but it is so much to take in at one time. This would make a wonderful reminder.
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I don’t know why the thought of doing this procedure on my Lucey really scared me. There’s really nothing to it. I will be purchasing my supplies tomorrow and giving “Grace” a long-overdue deep-cleaning very soon. Thanks!
Great video. So easy to follow. When your new to APQS ownership the machine is a little scary as I’m afraid messing it up. But your video is vert knowledgeable and makes cleaning easy.
Great video. Great lighting, angle and canera placement. I liked how you gave a list of items needed. Would you be able to add the needed items list to your detail of the video.
Well, I was taught never to use WD-40 on a sewing machine, but this is an exception. WD-40 means water displacement, formula 40. It has a lot of kerosene in it. I’m wondering if you could use something else like breakaway or another solvent?
Hi! I’m following factory recommendations. As an APQS Representative, I know they know best. You could send this question to support at APQS, let me know what you find out. Happy quilting!
This is the most helpful video on how to clean the APQS longarm. Thank you for your time to make this video.🥰
Happy to help!

Excellent video with easy-to-follow instructions. Did not realize how 'dirty' our Lucey was! Purrs like a kitten now:) :)
Wonderful!

Lucey’s controls are on the left side of the machine when you are standing at the needle side.

I'm so glad!
Great video. I need to get a comb now just for Charley Horse 😊
She will love it!
Thank you. I was unaware I needed to clean the carriage rollers with the comb. I’ll make sure to check mine in the morning.
It’s one way to remove lint and really easy. Thanks!
This is a great video. So helpful.

This video is my go to!! Thank you so much!!
Great video. I as well have never heard of or thought of combing out the carriage brush.
You may be cleaning the axle brushes a different way. There’s more than one way of course!
I have a magnet basket that I put all the screws and such in during my cleaning so they don’t wonder off.
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Very good information and videoing, thanks!

My first time for a deep cleaning, so I watched to make sure I had it right. No green salad bowl though, is it alright if I use a yellow one?😄😁🤣
Only for you, Ralph. Go with the yellow.
