What a life saver, I have just tinked a ribbing because I thought I knew what I was doing and didn't need to measure for casting on, because I thought I was better than everyone else. Stupid me.
This is a lifesaver! I’ve been holding off on a few double knitting projects because they’d require a really long Kitchener bind off. I’d heard that weaving in the ends partway was possible but couldn’t really picture it and until now I hadn’t found a good video that illustrated how it worked. Thank you so much!
This is great! I never knew any of it. I have to say...I most appreciate your weaving in method. I tried the 'smiles and umbrellas', but its confusing, sometimes my weaving shows up on the other side, and I think it shows up in the back any way. So I have been doing my weaving for years the same way you do. But I always felt like I wasn't doing it right and worried it would come out. So I feel much better now that I've seen a master knitter do it! Thanks.
Different stitch patterns need different approaches! The "smiles and umbrellas" method is reverse duplicate stitch. It works really well for stockinette fabrics, but not as well for knit/purl stitch patterns.
Thanks so much!🥰 I used this to bind off the bottom rib on a jumper, I was dreading using metres of wool to do it. Brilliant!!!
Thank you so much! Without this tutorial I likely wouldn't have finished my project for quite some time ♥

Thank You! The “crossing over” bit is key, invisible as well! Saving this in my toolbox!
